If your school gets E-rate funding, chances are you're looking for ways to educate students about Internet safety, appropriate online behavior, and cyberbullying. Our completely free toolkit makes providing that education and documenting your process a snap.
Learn the ins and outs of teaching Digital Literacy and Citizenship with help from Common Sense. Online offerings include a training you can customize by your grade and topics of interest and lots of videos featuring teachers that have had success with our curriculum. We've also partnered with Computer-Using Educators (CUE) to offer in-person trainings around the country!
We're excited to invite you to explore Digital Passport, a brand new online learning platform from Common Sense Media. It’s a web-based, interactive learning tool that teaches and tests the basics of digital life for kids in 3rd through 5th grade. Topics covered include cyberbullying, privacy, digital communication, creative credit, and search.
Digital Passport is open now for schools to use the beta version this spring. You’ll also find lots of supporting materials to expand the learning through collaborative classroom activities, and rich reporting to track student success.
