What Parents Need to Know
This review of Hannah Montana Soundtrack was written by Jennifer Axman
Parents need to know that this special edition soundtrack is made up of 15 songs from Disney's TV show, Hannah Montana, including the theme song "The Best of Both Worlds." The 2-disc set features all the same safe, girl-power pop favorites from the first soundtrack release in 2006 ("If We Were a Movie" and "I Got Nerve"), but also has a new bonus track "Nobody's Perfect." It also comes with a DVD that includes 30 minutes of "Backstage Secrets" and a live concert performance of "Nobody's Perfect," signed snapshots of Cyrus, and a certificate for a free "This is the Life" ringtone.
Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about what it would be like to have a mysterious secret identity as a rock star. Would it be worth it? What are the pros and cons of living a secret yet glamorous life like that? How would your friends react? Families can also discuss how it's different to listen to a song rather than to watch its video. How does your imagination allow you to see different things?
