Parents need to know that this special edition soundtrack is made up of 15 songs from Disney's TV show, Hannah Montana, including the theme song "The Best of Both Worlds." The 2-disc set features all the same safe, girl-power pop favorites from the first soundtrack release in 2006 ("If We Were a Movie" and "I Got Nerve"), but also has a new bonus track "Nobody's Perfect." It also comes with a DVD that includes 30 minutes of "Backstage Secrets" and a live concert performance of "Nobody's Perfect," signed snapshots of Cyrus, and a certificate for a free "This is the Life" ringtone.

What’s the Story?
The beloved Hannah Montana, played by Miley Cyrus, is an ordinary, everyday girl who happens to have a secret identity as a rock star. In the HANNAH MONTANA SOUNDTRACK, she sings of normal girl problems (fitting in, living your dream, having fun with friends). Miley's feelings about staying strong and balancing her real self with her stage one is an ongoing theme ("If you could see the other side of me/I'm just like everybody else/can't you tell" in "The Other Side of Me"). In addition to the nine Miley Cyrus songs, there are four tracks by guest artists: The Click Five, Jesse McCartney, Everlife, and B5.
Is It Any Good?
All of the songs on this CD are clean and full of upbeat girl-power messages ("I know where I stand/I know who I am ... Gonna get what I deserve, I got nerve"), talent, and charm. The touching duet with Miley's famous father, Billy Ray Cyrus, "I Learned from You" ("I learned from you that I do not crumble/I learned from you that strength is something you choose ... There is no question that's a lesson I learned from you") is one of the album's best tracks.
