Former Head of Marketing, Yahoo! Inc.

With more than 23 years of marketing experience, Karen Edwdards is passionate about working with brands that change our lives. She served as a key force in building Yahoo! Inc. into a leading global brand, overseeing marketing for all Yahoo properties. After Yahoo, Karen co-founded Common Sense Media and developed the organization's original marketing plan. In 2004, as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer of Glam.com, she developed a strategy to launch Glam as an online media company, which quickly became the number-one female-focused Web destination, according to ComScore/Media Metrix.

Today she serves on the boards of the Institute for the Future, the Stanford Alumni Association, and Common Sense Media and is an advisor to 2Wire Inc, LetsTalk Inc., PodTech Networks, and Glam Media. She previously served as a director on the boards of Red Envelope, 2Wire Inc., and OurPictures Inc.
