William S. "Bill" Price, III is a co-founder and partner emeritus of TPG Capital, LP (formerly Texas Pacific Group).  Mr. Price served on the firm's investment committee from 1992 until 2007, during that time they acquired Burger King, Continental Airlines, Oxford Health, J.Crew Group, Neiman Marcus and many other global firms.  Mr. Price has served on the board of directors for Bally International AG; Beringer Wine Estates; Cranium Inc.; Continental Airlines, Inc.; Del Monte Foods Company; Petco Animal Supplies, Inc.; Punch Taverns; Gemplus International SA; and Grohe AG. He joined Presidio Financial Partners LLC's advisory board in June 2007.

Mr. Price bought the Durell Vineyards in Sonoma in 1998 and founded Three Sticks Winery in 2002.  He also bought a minority stake in Kistler Vineyards in January 2008. 

In addition to serving as Board Chair for Common Sense Media, Mr. Price serves as board member for the non-profits: California Academy of Sciences, the J. David Gladstone Institutes, the California Mentor Foundation, the Dignity Fund, COPIA: Center for Wine, Food, and the Arts, and Justgive.com.
