What parents need to know

Ease of play

How to maneuver Alice through some parts of the game could be a lot more intuitive, and the Journal of riddles, GPS-based items, and photos are a complete mystery at first.

Consumerism

Kids must physically be at the Disney Theme park for some of the GPS-based game extras to work, hint, hint. There are also full-screen ads for a blocky-looking Nintendo version and a spectacular looking Wii version of Alice.

Privacy & safety

There are GPS extras that work only if you are in a Disney theme park and allow the app to use your location.

Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that this charming 2D adventure is a tie-in to the Tim Burton movie but bears little resemblance. The characters are non-threatening and fine for all ages.

QUALITY

Alice has fallen down the rabbit hole again and needs your help making her way through the bewildering world of Wonderland. Enchanting music and a pretty 2D girl who navigates obstacles with the help of the Mad Hatter and other friends make this a compelling adventure. Whether it's worth $5 or exposing kids to all the movie ads is debatable.

Flashinthepan, this is the IPhone game of the movie, not the movie itself. Anyways, I tried this game at a friends house. It was ok and easy to play, but not worth the price unless you loved the movie.

Not the level I would have expected from Johnny Depp and Tim Burton

What a dissapointment! Who cares that Tim Burton Directed this movie...so many politically correct reviews just because it was Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. With their experience and talent, I hold them to a higher level then this nonsense. Not an Alice in Wonderland story. An interpretation on the coat-tails of the real story. Basically a nonsensical movie. Depp's performance and accent fluctuated between his Pirates character, Willi Wonka, Sleepy Hollow character, etc. He was not consistant at all. Lots of hype and big bucks spent on marketing with little quality or substance.
