What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Amaze Kids - Best Kids Videos is a curated collection of YouTube videos. There are lots of videos from high interest, popular kids channels such as PBS Kids, Super Simple Songs, National Geographic, and GoNoodle. Parents have a handful of tools to customize the library for their family. They can create playlists, set one of three age groups for each profile, mark videos as favorites, create a PIN, and set a timer. Parents must provide an email address to create an account, after which they can start making individual profiles. Amaze Kids - Best Kids Videos doesn't work offline; kids need to be connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network to watch videos. It supports both English and Spanish. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.

What’s It About?
Parents set up an account and a viewing profile to start using AMAZE KIDS - BEST KIDS VIDEOS. For each profile, choose one or more age groups: 2–4, 5–7, or 8–11. Kids can search for videos by name or browse categories such as Let's Sing, The Reading Nook, What a Wonderful World, Do It Together, and Move It. Scroll through the available videos to choose what they want to see. The "For You" section offers playlists on more specific topics such as dinosaurs, and it's updated weekly. Parents -- or kids -- can mark any video as a favorite and create custom playlists. Parents can set a PIN to prevent kids from accessing content outside their profile and can use a timer to limit kids' time in the app.
Is It Any Good?
This curated collection of YouTube videos is a great option for parents looking to let their kids explore freely without running into iffy content. For the most part, the videos included are well chosen and focus on high-interest, engaging material with some sort of educational intent. That said, some of the videos are much better than others. And there are a few downright disappointments, such as the favorite tunes category that's filled exclusively with songs from Disney and other large kids' film franchises. In addition to the YouTube videos, Amaze Kids - Best Kids Videos also has some nice extra features, such as customizable playlists, a timer, and the option to make multiple user profiles. But there's still room for improvement. For example, making a playlist is a really clunky process since parents need to search for each video they want individually by name. Every once in a while, there are links to videos that are no longer available on YouTube. The orientation in the app's menus is upright, but it's sideways for the videos, so kids will have to keep changing how they're holding the device. And although the videos are vetted by real people, it would be great to see a rationale about why videos make it into the collection. However, overall, Amaze Kids - Best Kids Videos is a good choice for safer YouTube video surfing.
