What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Animal Memory Game Kids (or Animal Memory Kids Game on Android* phones) is a cute, but basic card matching/memory game. There are four themes: farm, insects, marine, and jungle. There are also four difficulty levels: Easy (4 cards), Medium (8 cards), Hard (16 cards), and Expert (24 cards). Games are timed but without a time limit, so kids can work toward faster scores, and the best scores are recorded in an in-game high score table. *This app was reviewed on the Android platform.

Is It Any Good?
ANIMAL MEMORY GAME KIDS is a concentration-type memory game that is charming and easy to use. The graphics are cute, but there are no animations or bells and whistles. The music and sound effects, which can be disabled, verge on annoying. The ability to choose between animal themes and difficultly levels keep the game fresh and appropriate for a range of users. The replayability makes this app a nice value.
