Is It Any Good?
The story in MADERA & FIGARO IN THE RESCUE OF GINGER plays out over 20 pages, during which the monkey and the frog join forces to become a hero team. It is a cute and fun adventure app, with embedded educational mini-games for preschoolers to find and explore. As kids help Madera and Figaro hunt for a missing cat, they will match turtles, stack boxes, count cats, and drag acorns into a hole in a tree. Throughout it all, kids hear goofy, giggle-inducing voiceover work.
This is the first story about the monkey-and-frog hero team, but it has been so popular that it has spurred a sequel called Madera & Figaro Save the Day. While this first story is shorter and has fewer interactive bits than the second Madera & Figaro adventure, Save the Day, it is still a fun romp for preschoolers to explore.
