Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.

What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Moozart is a barnyard-themed music creator with 13 different barnyard sounds including oinking pigs, meowing cats, and quacking ducks. Kids can create their own music by dragging and dropping barnyard symbols onto a musical staff then pressing the Play button. The music scrolls as it plays so kids can follow along with the notes. Kids can also listen to more than a dozen popular tunes and make their own changes to the music.

Is It Any Good?
MOOZART is a whimsical app that lets kids have fun with different barnyard sounds while learning about pitch and rhythm. Kids create music by dragging symbols representing different sounds onto a Treble Clef staff. There are no time signatures or bars, but kids can create the rhythms they want by leaving more space in between the notes. Chords (multiple notes sounding at the same time) are also possible. The app would be even better if there were instructions for parents and a way for kids to save or share their musical creations; but its colorful and easy-to-learn presentation is good fun for preschoolers.
