Nowadays children seem to swap childhood to television and computer games. Every parent have to find something to motivate their child's life and not turn their children into a couch potato. I have written an article about this topic an you can view it on www.realmomtips.com

Watching tv is fine its just when it exceeds a certain time then you should stop. I do just cause i'm on a strict exercise plan that only allows a max of 2 hours. I spend my time doing cardio and goin out with friends. And i'm not the average teen then cause i spend a lot of time talking with my parents. I spend more time than the average time during dinner. I talk with my parents for like 45 minutes during dinner

whats so terrible about watching tv
its entertainment
and since the begining of time people have been finding ways to entertain themselves
no matter what you do theres pros and cons
especially when it comes to entertainment

and ive learned alot of things from tv to
as long as you do more then just watch tv
you shouldnt even have to be asked dumb questions like this one

We watch a movie on Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes together and sometimes separately. I have seen Lord Of The Rings plenty of times and do not care to see any of Pirates of The Caribbean any more. My wife and I try to find movies that we all can enjoy for when we share that time together, but it can be difficult to satisfy a 13 year old daughter. We are Christian and are homeschooling our last daughter. We read a ton and library trips are frequent. She is a daily delight for her parents. She goes outside and jumps on her trampoline, shoots her bow and arrows, and reads voraciously, all voluntarily. A little more work up front as you pay more attention to your kid....but that is why we have them, right?
