this was a great book
this was the best book i ever read! i only read the first one and cant wait to read the next ones! i didn't read the gossip girls series and this book made sense so u don't need to read them first. i am going to read them after this series. u should read these books they are awesome!!!!! :)

Not Into It
A spin-off of the popular Gossip Girl series, this book has all of the loose morals and wooden dialog but none of the wit of the original series. If it is the guilty pleasure of shallow teen-girl fiction you are after, there are plenty of other options to go for besides this boring clunker. The protagonist, Jenny, is beyond clueless, and the supporting cast is full of wholly unlikeable one dimensional stock characters with (yawn) predictable poor-little-rich-kid back stories. The It Girl is badly written and poorly plotted-- leave it the shelf.

Teenage Trash.
This book is aweful, as well as the Gossip Girl books. It's for teenage girls who like to daydream about guys. and things that are totally unrealistic. It's an aweful book and an overall stupid story. Don't read this book before bed; it's not worth loosing sleep.

The It Girl
I like how Jenny trys to leave her Upper East Side life and trys to start with a new slate . Jenny was always my favorite Gossip Girl character and didn't like how people judged her by her breast size. I have no clue what the books moral is but I still think it's really good!It made me LMAO.

Great book for teens!
Great book! I laughed a lot! I am a teen, and do not do anything of the things mentionned in the book, but found it very entertaining. It's FICTION!!

Perfect for Older Teens 15+ :)
I love it, I am a teen and i dont drink or have a boyfriend, but the thing is that these things happen out there and parents shouldn't ignore this because it can make it worse for the kids, you have to be honest with them and teach them right from wrong or else they wont know how to deal with situations like these. i like this book because it doesnt make says it how it is and i love the scandal i would definetly recommend this to any teen and also to lovers of Gossip Girl!! :P xoxoxoxoxox

Its a great book, if you are under 15 I recommend it-only if your that mature.
i think that this book is really good. i'm 13 and I love it! I think that all the sexual content/drugs(it talks about ecstasy but thats about it)/cigarettes are inappropriate, but if you are mature enough to know that 'everything they're doing is bad and i am never going to do this as long as i live because they're not role models' then u should be o.k.

It was an awesome book! I cant wait for the second one! It may not be appropriate for children under 13 because there are some mature subjects in the book. ex. sex, drinking, and drugs. Other than that it was great.

Very addictive! Twas Amazing!
If you like the Gossip Girl series, you'll love this one and vice versa! I love this series and the books in it just get better. Although I wouldn't recommend in to any pre-teens, and it would only be suitable for 13 / 14 year olds who are very mature - other wise, it would give them a bit of a wake up call - although it is very over the top with how dramatic it is!

Inappropriate for anyone under 15, Maybe mature 14 year olds.
I'm 14 and I didn't notice the back that said "15+" until I really got into the book. It's definitely inappropriate although I instantly became addicted. I would not reccomend it to my younger sister, although I would to one of my friends. It's like The Clique, only the girls are meaner on a new level of drugs and alcohol. Unless you are mature enough to understand what the girls in the story are doing is wrong, than you should not read this book. Between the student-teacher affair and the "E incident" this book is completely atrocious - but I loved every moment of it anyway! Filled with labels, most girls would probably look to buy some of these brands. I know plenty of people online who obsess over books like this (namely The Clique) and act just like the main characters. It disgusts me, but I am mature enough to not act like characters.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!
These books (in the it girl series) are all AMAZING. These are my favorite books of all time. As for the teacher-student thing with Brett, it ends badly and it turns out he was a sketchy character anyway so it shows that the relationship was negative. Also about the rich/ materialistic thing, the main character, Jenny isn't rich. She's still got lots of friends and is quite happy, so is it really so horrible? Plus there's no actual sex scenes and I found these books cleaner than the Gossip Girl books which I also enjoyed, although not as much. These books are very very good and I highly reccomend them.

I'm 14 and it was a little umm..risque but great
I thought it was good but again very sexual, some affairs and cheating... lots of swears F bombs. But awsome for older girls!

A must read book for ages 15& over =]
well i thin that this book is great. it talks about sex, drugs, violence, alcolhol, social life and smoking; all things that 15 and over are interested in, (well some) this book is very good as it builds tension as it skips from person to person in each chapter :) ***** Best book i've read :)

i think that this was a GREAT book!!! ive read the first three and they were AHmazing!!! there were some issues that were a little innapropriate and the story would be the same without them, but its ok. if your kids know the difference between wright and wrong, and know that books are diffferent than real life, they will be fine. overall, its a great series!!! : )

not a problem if you raised your kid
Ok well i'm 13 and i read this book when i was 11! in fact i own this book.now out of the whole thing the worst part is probably the drugs and sex. Explain to your children that because of drugs the charecter Easy is totally messed and while he may be living how ever he wants now when he is no longer under the care of his parents he will be poor. also explain that looks fade but intelegance and memorys will not. Now on the sez issu. i understand you feel the need to protect your children from the world of early pregnancies and badly raised children that will no doubt be the outcome of most early pregnancies. but if your kids were raised corectly or are mature and understanding of reality they'll understand that there are consuquences to their actions like whith calie she will now most likely lose easy and become a nobody because jenny is there. And even more they never acctually have sex in the book only oral sex and your kids can real about sex anywhere it's called lemon and smut ok. In addition this is a great book to use to discuss things whith your kids because it's better to have them hear it from you with a book to use as an exsample than from a book where their minds traval diferently whithout a parent nearby. It's also better than if they hear it from someone else. As for the labels whats wrong whith them? i mean it's the same as magasines and fashin you imitating someone else i read this book 3 times i think but i still dress the same besides some of their outfits seem ridiculous and i would never try and dress like them because i'm an original. Also i noticed the violence thing now belive it or not there was verry little violence considering the book we are discusing. there were arguments but nothing you don't see on tv or at school and sometimes kids see worse at home. maybe instead of trying to protect them from everything you should help them be able to understand things to your way of thinking and base their desitions on mostly that. you know c atch them when they fall and help them satnd on their own 2 feet instead of making them sit on a wheelchair until they are pushed into the real worl and not be prepared! (mature kid point of view

I loved It
Personally as a teenaged girl i loved drama filled books and shows. its the perfect amount of drama that u want 2 keep reading but not so many that it gets predicatable. This series is the opposite of predictable it has so many OMG moments it getss u hooked.

this book is amazing and parents may THINK its bad because of the sex and drugs but it duznt say "here, have sum pot, its good 4 u"! the girls are really CATTY and MEAN but helLO, the same thing as the drugs!! and every1 is SO RICH that they can afford that lifestyle but 4 most peeps hu read this book it isnt very realistic. also: memo 2 "Flavored": learn how 2 spell "awful": not w/ an E!!!

I don't care what you say, they're good books!
I love this book!! well written. Adults, maybe when you were our age you didn't have boyfriends and designer clohes, and lots of us dont now, but some of us kids do, were not 9 years old anymore. These books are supposed to be fake and fun to read, but some parts are not that far off from real life. Just because some things aren't good in these books doesn't mean that some of them aren't true.

This book is awesome.It has things 13 yr old girls are into sex drugs etc. Parents dont understand and think this but is dirty but it is not.

I LOVED IT
As soon as my best friend read this book, she gave it to me to read telling me it was really good. I finally got around to reading it, and fell in love with it. As soon as i found out that there were two more, i imediately read them. I wish that there were movies of the books though. This book isn't one of those books that you could really screw up with, so maybe you will consider it?
