Very inspiring story about a guys relationship with a girl that is different from all the others. She (stargirl) makes the other characters open up to being different in the beginning of the story.

A must read! It tells a tale of a boy falling in love with a girl that's different. He is an outcast and she clueless to this because of her great generosity and gift of giving to others.

(weep-weep) it was touching... Your eyes will be glued
This book is really great. Mostly for kids in a high 4th grade lever or older. It is touching. Sensitive boys and most girls will love it.

If you are thinking this book is exactly like "Stargirl," then you're wrong. It's a great book, but way different from the first book. This book doesn't really have a plot line, but the author makes it work. Stargirl never really goes thru the hurt, betrayal and outcastment that she went thru in "Stargirl." I liked this book because it was showed that because Stargirl accepts who she is and doesn't try to change that, she is a happier person. She shows its okay to be different and stand out from the crowd, and I think that's an important message to discuss. She also shows that she's heartbroken over Leo, and is still in like with him (she's not in love with him, so she's in like with him). An overall feel-good book.

I loved the book!
Love, Stargirl was a very good book, but you have to read stargirl first. That is the first book. It is about a girl named stargirl who moves away from the love of her life. The boys name is Leo.

Iffy
I really enjoyed reading the 1st book; Stargirl. And when this book came out I went out and bought it, thinking it would pick up where the 1st one left off. But, I started reading it and realized it was just Stargirl's diary, and the other main character never was mentioned, other than in her words. It was okay though.
