Machales Writing Improves As the Series Goes On

This book is very good, but the series gets better as it goes on. I just finished the 9th book, Raven Rise, and OH MY GOD. It was probably the best book of ever read (yes better than HP, House of Scorpion, Fableheaven etc...). His writing has gotten so much better. From about the end of the second book onwards you feel an emotional attachment to the characters. I found it hard to stop reading these and finished the first eight in a month or so. Then i had to wait for the 9ths release. The idea behind the series is creative and original. I recommend this to anybody over ten, preferably under 20, after that, it sort of looses it's appeal.

    Recommended

If this were a book not of the series, I would definitely not recommend it. Yes, it was okay, pretty exciting, but it's pretty much nothing compared to the other books in the series, which is why I would recommend it, because you always need to read the first book, or else everything is very confusing. In this case, I think this book was a bit of run around, where is Bobby?! I'd still recommend it to someone looking for a series to read.

    Best

This is probably the best book ever. If you've read this one you've probably read all of the one's that are out right now. Once you pick this book up, you won't be able to stop. Non-stop action, and keeps your heart pumping and you biting your nails.

A must read book for all kids

This book is great I would recromend it to anyone who is in need of a good book. There some violence (man gets run over by subway train, man gets eaten) but for the most part it isn't that violent. One minor charactor smokes a ciggarete but don't let that fact stop you from reading one of the better books of our generation

    The best books ever

These books rock!! Th series gets better as it goes on. Violence is prevelent, and language is moderate. The story is wonderful. I would recommend this book for kids who don't like to read or like movies better than books, as this book is written like a movie. Funny thing too, the writer of "Pendragon" also wirtes scripts for "Flight 29 Down", "Ghostwriter", and "Tower of Terror".

A Must Read Book For Ages 10+

It is a nice book except you do have to know your kid because there is some violence (man jumps in front of a train, man gets eaten by a beast)and there is some drug use but for the most part it is a good book for most kids.

    A great first book!

These books are wonderful! The plotline is a little tired, but the interesting characters make up for that. Bobby is kind of a wuss in the beggining, but he turns out to have some strong moments. As the series progresses, it's interesting to see how Bobby grows up, emotionally, physical and mentally, once he's got his mind around the fact that he is a traveler. This book has one major kiss in the first few pages, and it's very violent, but it"s good for 10 and up, in my opinion.

This book is great for teens!

A bit mushy, and I was sort of grossed out. I found I could really be Bobby's best friend if I wanted to. He was so likable!
