Common Sense Note
Parents need to know that this is simple, rhyming fun.
Families can talk about the habits of their cats. Are they super stars or big sleepers? Do you think they dream about travel in their 22+ hours of daily sleep?
Common Sense Review
Reviewed By: Carrie R. Wheadon
It may sound like the owners of the cat who likes to hide in boxes are disappointed with their less-than-ambitious pet, but you can hardly blame them when they know a cat that plays the fiddle, flies a plane, and dresses in a kimono, waving a fan. But it's all in good fun.
The illustrations are charming and the rhyming is catchy. This classic is a favorite in most English-speaking countries.
