An excellent read!
A wonderful and sad introduction for children to the horrors of the Holocaust. Better read outloud.

I thought this book was okay. I expected the main character do something more exciting or more heroic. But other than that, it was really good.

I've read it five times!
I loved this book I read it five times at least. It has a happy ending, some parts will make jump for joy and some parts will make you cry. A must read for any child.

Great Book!
This book was a very interesting read with a lot of foreshadowing. I thought it was very good and our class read it together in 5th grade in literature group. Lois Lowry is an excellent author. A MUST read! :-)

it was O.K.
Not one of the best books i have read. I thought it would have been alot better- kind of dissapointed. I don't recomend this book, i don't think i will ever come in contact with it again.

Excellent story
A person of any age would benefit from reading this novel. People need to understand what happened to people in Europe during WWII and to see how it affected everyone. There is also the important aspect of friendship that is portrayed in the novel, which is a good model for anyone.

This book we read at school and it is so interesting because it teaches us what we need to know with characters who one IS Jewish and they try to disquise her with another family and it is just a great book
