Great for all readers over about age 8. At 52, I loved it!

Some folks, seeing as we are all still strapped with the Puritanical Outlook, think that the "invisible nudity" in this story is a bit mature, shall we say, for the young reader. Pshaw! I say. Kids, read on; read books, especially banned books. Of the thousands of books I've read, nothing in thems comes close to the offensive messages shown routinely on TV or in video games...The value of the written word is without a doubt much more valuable to all of us than anything "screens" have to offer. Things Not Seen is an imaginative, positive, wonderful story of a teenage boy faced with a challange few of us will ever see. His response to that situation is admirable, and well worth reading about. Great Book! I wish it were longer!

    YUK!!!!

An Electric Blanket! What! I couldn't get passed the science to even enjoy the relationships in this story. This book was one of the worst children's book I've read in a long time. Sad, Sad because A.C. is one of my very favorite authors. I use many of his books in my class room. This one I actually threw out!

    Fantastic!

This is great story of sudden teenage invisibility..literally. Fifteen year old Bobby wakes up one morning to find he has become invisible, and the main plot-line is trying to figure out the reason behind it. He befriends a blind girl and together, they eventually solve the mystery. Sure, he may walk around naked, but that's the point! He's invisible! Why would it matter? It's not an promotion for everyone to go about town in that manner. It just helps him cause a little less disruption than being an invisible figure in clothing. Definitely a good read! Two thumbs up!

Great! A must-read for Mystery and Romance fans ages 10+!!

I loved this book. It was tottaly amazing. Although, there was mild curses and Bobby walks around naked, but I can understand that because he is invisible. I dont realy care, but I though I'd let curious parents know the down sides to the book. Anyway, throughout the book, I can feel a bond between me and the chararacters. A.C makes the characters in his stories so real, you can connect with them so much. It's a very good book if you're looking for humor, mystery, fiction, or romance books. It makes you wanting to keep reading more and more. Try and put this down once you start reading. I dare you. I read this is 2 days. =) ENJOY THE BOOK!

    Great Book!

i read this book for summer reading, and i loved it! it taught me that, even though in the novel bobby was physically invisble, there are real teenagers out in the world that are truly forgotten and ignored. Bobby was a like-able character young children can easily look up to,

    Really, really good.

This is by far the best book I have ever read. I stayed up all night reading it. The idea of invisibility seems really cool as a superpower, but if it's thrust upon you like in this book, it's not that great after all. I recommend it for anyone who likes to read, and I think it would be a good book for required school reading.

    Amazing

I think this book was great. There was a lot of detail. Some parts it would build up a lot of suspense and then let it down but I think most of the part it was good. I loved this book. I would recommened this to everyone ages 9+. I've already recommended it to 2 of my friends and they said it was great! This book to my opinion deserved a 8 1/2.

    Invisibility-Things not seen

My name is Queanh Pham.I'm in fourth grade.I really like the book things not seen because it's real(Not the invisible part). The book shows a people's true feelings and how that person would act if they were in Bobby's or Alicia's place. The part I like best is Alicia's letter near the end of the book.It is both sad and happy at the same time.It expresses her feelings very clearly to me.That's the best part. I love Andrew Clements's books.Ihope he will right lots more. When I grow up I would love to be a writer just like him.I've already started several stories by myself.

    YES! YES! YES!

When I first got this book and read the back i was not that enthusiastic about reading it. But now it is the night after I finished the book and I am devestated! I loved that book so stinking much! I love Bobby's sarcastic remarks, and the humor and romanc to the story. I'm hoping A.C. will make a sequil to it because I want more! This is a great book for teens.

    Best Book Ever

The book is very funny because of Bobby's sarcastic remarks. He does become invisible. He can be harsh sometimes when he doesn't get what he wants. I would reccomend this book to all teenagers. There is humor, little romance, agnst, horror, spirituality, and sadness. I felt like I couldn't stop reading the book. This book has a situaion that interests me a lot. I feel like I want to read the book again.
