All-American Girl
I read this in 6th grade and I really enjoyed it. It's about this girl who saves the president's life and how her life changes by that ocassion. It does have some kissing and talking about women's 'parts'. And there's some teenager drinking at a party. But other than that, it's a really good book.

Meg Cabot Has Out Done Herself
"All-American Girl" is one of the best books I've read in a while. It's predictable ending is more than made up for by its incredible humor and insight. It contains some mild violence, under-age drinking, and sexual content. However, it's all mild.

I loved this book! It's really far-fetched I know! But isn't that what's fun and amazing about it? Meg Cabbot is a dreamer in my opinion. She has amazing plots. And I think her books especially this one is a must read for this summer! :)

One Of The Best Books!
The moment I got this book, I begun reading it - I am crazy over Meg Cabot's books. Laughter, sad moments... this book has it all. Simply a must-read!

Pretty great fluff read!
I picked this book up in a used book store a while ago, and read it and really enjoyed it. Like with most of Meg Cabot's novels, there really isn't much depth, but will definetly hook book-worms and reluctant readers alike! It's a pretty tame novel, pretty much any tween or teen girl will enjoy this fun read, and you have to admit, the plot (Angsty teen girl saves the president, falls in love with the first son, etc.) is pretty brilliant, making this a quick fluff read. I'd also really reccomend Meg's Airhead series if your kids liked this one.

Fun Book!
It's a good book, ful of descriptive language, and wonderfully written about a regular girl that, well, becomes different and noticed.

All American Story
All American Girl is an upbeat, coming of age story that should be read for generations to come. Samantha is an outspoken role model that happened to be in the right place at the right time- and that very moment ends up changing her life. A solid ending that slowly guides you into the sequel (pause for kids 13 and under).

Not Very Appropriate!
I bought this book for my daughter who is 12 and she loved it! She told me that there were some inappropriate parts that she skipped throughout the book and did not let any one read the book other than herself. We eventually donated it to a charity drive since no one else thought it was appropriate.

Sure, the thing with the TV shows was iffy, but really, I never watch news segmets anyway. Like we would really sit through a boring talk show while people are whinning about their problems, while we think it's US who should be on there. But whatever. The vigania thing wasn't THAT bad, we already had to watch a stupid thing about it. So this isn't really bad, and it is a work of art!

Great Book
The greatest thing about this book is that Meg Cabot can write stories as if they're coming out of a regular teenager. Meg has awesome talents for a middle-aged woman to write the way she does for her teen books. I recommend this book and also the second book, Ready or Not, to teenagers.
