Amazing Book
It is easier to understand, the older you are. This book has a fine message. Although the main character (Artemis Fowl II) is a criminal genuis, he reverts to becomeing a better person, with the help of other characters. The book has plenty of suspense and suprise twists in it. I recomend every book of the Artemis Fowl series. This book is my personal favorite. A must read for book lovers!! =)

Great book- I loved it!
This is a great series- the only thing people may find bad is that the main character is a master-mind criminal. There is, also, some mild violence (but for the good of the People and humans :) )

Excellent Book!
Fairies and human, criminal mastermid Artemis Fowl team-up to stop an evil human from discovering the Fairy world. This book is lots of fun. I think it's mainly aimed at upper elementry and middle school kids. Still, adults will enjoy it, too!

a great book
this is a really great addition to the Artemis Fowl series! i was spellbound since the first book and its always a thrilling unable-to-put down read! however for some parents looking out for their kids, they might want to read the series with them in order to explain a few things. first, that artemis fowl, though one of the main characters, is actually kind of a "bad guy" in the book. the fairies do not approve of his actions, and only work with him because they absolutly have to. artemis is a criminal genius, and veiws all adults as rather "stupid" and is very sarcastic when interacting with mostly anyone. still a great book to read, but if you have kids you might wanna clear up that being a criminal genius is NOT heroic :P

Not "Great!" but good enough!
I've read this book around four times. It's a slightly more than average book. I love it anyways. For starters, children must understand that what Artemis does is wrong and that he ends up paying for it. Ha-ha, Artemis. Ha-ha. (Please ignore that) Anyways, the violence is not much, but if you prefer for your child(ren) not to be exposed to literature with shooting and guns in it, then this isn't really recommended. Unfortunately, my memory must be horrible since I can't recall anything else that is inappropriate in this book... (Oh, this book is slightly childish if there's any adults out there trying to see if it's worth it. I like the first book better. It's more interesting and I recommend that, but not this one. Then again, this series isn't aimed much at grown-ups....)

A must-read book for anyone!!!
This book is amazing! You will probably have had to read the first two in the series though. Sure Artemis is a criminal genius, but it's quite obvious to see that though his actions are not necessarily legal, they are necessary in his position. Further, Colfer cements his reputation as a superb storyteller by giving fans of this series more of what they have come to love. There is a character for everyone to identify with. To put it in final terms, I fully recomend the book to anyone over 8, though some parental guidance may be required for younger readers. It is clear to me that this book will delight seasoned Artemis Fowl veterans and newcomers who know enough equally. It is an awesome work of fiction.
