Amazing book

This book is a modern day Beauty and the Beast. I hated the movie but this book was amazing. It is so detailed. It also made me feel better about myself because I am a bit of a reclusive person. There is so much details in the book. It is like an own world to get lost in.

Lousy, Boring, and Poorly Written

This book was terrible. The characters were too light and ditsy, and there was no depth to anything. I found it very hard to finish. Some people weren't meant to be authors.

It's rated PG 13 for a reason...not appropriate for tweens...not yet.

I loved this book. My 13 yr old read it too. Although there were a few border line sexual innuendoes, it was much less than what I have seen in other books and definitely movies. Fortunately my daughter talks to me a lot and so I feel comfortable with her reading/viewing Beastly.

Casual sex is not acceptable in a novel for teens. Period.

Although the book is inticing and has a redemption theme, it has so many references to casual sex that it is inappropriate for tweens and teens on that fact alone.

Read it Before the Movie Comes Out!

A modern day retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story, from the perspective of the beast. This was a fun, easy read. Involves magic, teenage drinking (a bit) and some sexual issues/ideas. I didn’t find it too offensive, but some parents might.
