If your mature it's fine
Okay, everyone says that this book is like, "Super inappropriate" or something, but it's really not. I'm 11 and I've read it and they don't go into detail with, you know. But there is a very bloody violent scene in which Bella gives birth to a vampire baby. I would still say a mature 11 year old could read it.

Some things to know: 1. Bella and Edward get married right out of high school. 2. Edwards family has an ISLAND. 3. When things are broken, Edward doesn't care at all. 4. S*x is mentioned alot in the book. 5. All Bella thinks about is having s*x with Edward. 6. Bella has an unexpected pregnancy. 7. Bella almost dies(again). 8. Bella becomes a vampire. 9. Bella has some weird baby(half human half vampire-strange). 10. Bella acts drunk when thinking of names for the weird baby(ex:EJ(Edward Jacob), and Renesme). 11. Unrealistic(The baby talking at a week old;growing rate;baby's weird power). 12. Bella's dress tears way up her thigh, while hunting. 13. Rare vampire "powers" become very common. 14. Bella has many powers, because she has to, or else the book wont be interesting(uh huh...ya right!). 15. Vampire "powers" adapt from reading minds, and seeing decisions, into superhero powers, which makes the whole story seem more like a comic book. 16. Bella forges papers. 17. Bella isnt very smart (ex: Bella doesnt think that after she had s*x with Edward that she might be pregnant, and alittle bit sooner, due to the fact that Edward is a VAMPIRE! 18. Bella doesn't follow through with the whole "newborn vampire horrible first year". 19. Bella's life is perfect(impossible!) 20. Everything that Bella does turns out positive for her team in the end(ya right!).

This book isnt bad. Honestly my parents dont know what I read so........ Yeah : D
..........................All the reviewers are 12 O_e I personally dont like the Twilight series. Its VERY poorly written. The last book revolves around Bella and her want for sex. Jacob and his need to have sex with Bellas newborn. Edwards controling,as usual. And around 200 pages of it is them talking about a war. Another 100 is about a war that doesnt happen. And about 300 describing how sexy Edward is. I bet most younger kids wouldnt even understand what was going on. I hardly did : /

If your sensitive may not be for you, if not great read =]
I read this book when I was younger, so my review of it now might be a little off for some... I personally loved the saga. I was emerged each in every page, in fact it was such a page turner for me i read the 700 pg book in one day! There was a bit of intimacy but nothing major.. Stephanie did not go into grave detail about the honeymoon, in fact Bella forgot what happened and only bruises reminded her of what happened. As a parent this may be enough to tell the teen, no don't read it, but to me it wasn't really serious. As far as the birth.. that was a bit intense and some can even say gore(if your that sensitive) but nothing someone 14 or older can't handle =]

Worst one yet - and that's saying something!
Not only does Bella get pregnant as a teenager and have an incredibly gory birth scene (very disgusting), but her best friend falls in love with her baby. I wouldn't even want my younger sisters reading this. To learn about how Twilight is anti-feminist, google "amplify your voice feminism doesn't sparkle".

Horrible Book! Don't Read
This book is really gross and it sends out bad messages. Bella gets married to a vampire at age 18. It's pretty ridiculous. Then he breaks her dawn if you catch my drift. Also she gets pregnant which encourages unprotected sex. This is a very bad book. Don't read it!

Pointless
I do not like the Twilight Saga. I read them because my friends wanted me to. I thought this one was the 2nd worst, right next to New Moon. First they got married and had sex. Then they had a baby. Then the story was just forced to keep going because of a big war, which never even happened, although the book spend a good 400 pages talking about it. After that, it finally ended and they all live happily ever after.

If you arent mature, just put it down.
When i picked this book up, i was looking for a good laugh, a book similar to the first one were stephenie myers dosent overdo the romance factor, and even includes some subtle humor. What i got instead was a slap in the face and bella having a baby! with the whole baby thing, they gave way to much info! if you liked any of the previous books, DO NOT READ THIS ONE!!

Amazing for mature teens!
Loved It. This is a fabulous book for teens. Though some parents might believe its too "out there." I disagree. Most definetly the best book of the series.

A boy is ALL you need. THIS BOOK IS A PAPERWEIGHT!
Bella marries Edward and gets preganet with his kid. the kid breaks her bones and almost ends up killing her. It turns out that (whopdeedoo) Bella is great at everything and they live happily ever after.... almost. Except then the voultri try to kill them all and Bella scares them off. And Bella finds out that immorality solves everyones problems. The up side? A lot of the book is narrated by Jacob Black, the teenage werewolf and Bella's best friend. Why don't I intruduce you to a new BOOK called Harry Potter?

Perfectly fine for anyone over 9
I really like this book. It is defidentally one of my fave books of all time. I mean, yeah, the birth is pretty violent, but not too much to handle. yea Bella and Edward do that but its more of a before and after thing. they dont describe anything. I rread this when i was 10 aand it was perfectly fine. i would recomend this book to my friends.

horrible book!
this is a horrible book. please don't let your kids read it! i'm anti-twilight and i pretty much joined just to review this book, but i don't want to rant on you guys, so here are some main reasons why it's a horrible book: - negative rolde models. bella is a whiny and annoying mary sue and she gets what she wants without working for anything. she married her sparkly vampire husband edward just to have sex with him. - that leads me to point out that there is too much sexual content for kids. sure, the sex isn't described in detail, but edward and bella are constantly having "house-breaking", "night-long" sex. - too graphic. bella started puking out blood then edward had to rip her stomach open and take out their baby. then he had to bite her all over her body to turn her into a vampire. disgusting! - PEDOPHILIA!! do some research, go to twilightsucks*, i don't even want to go in-depth about this... - not to mention the book is ANTI-CLIMATIC. stephenie meyer [worst author ever, has a big ego, can't take criticism...] built up all this suspense for a fight, then guess what? nothing happens and edward and bella get their sparkly, happy ending! worst, book, ever! don't let your young kids read it, or let them read it as an example of how not to write.

Hmm.......
I personally hate Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga. Nothing good comes from the overly obsessive hype in teenage girls and the negative messages these dark books send. Doesn't anyone else see a problem with ADMIRING demonic creatures like vampires? Or is it just me? I honestly think Edward isn't a good guy, neither is Jacob. For people to get all worked up is giving them a false hope for what relationships are like. It's a dark soap opera. Violent, sensual, and pathetic. I don't think 12 year olds need to be exposed to this.

Iffy even for teenagers
Sex, sex, and sex are the main concerns for this book. Bella and Edward have sex (after they're married, so that is a good model for teens to follow) and Bella becomes pregnant. When she gives birth, it is extremely gory and might scare or upset tweens and anyone younger than 13. Definitely stand by for a talk if you let your child read Breaking Dawn.

Awesome read
This was my favorite book of the Twilight saga. I know a lot of parents are concerned with Bella having sex, but it doesn't describe anything other than her waking up with bruises (due to vampire strength). My main concern would be a gory child birth and violence with the Volturi. Other than that, it's a great, romantic, dramatic read!
