most amazing book EVER
wow is all i have to say. i thought the 1st book was great the second was unbeatable, but the thrid was WOW. it took my breath away, i stayed up to 1:30am to read it. so many twists! it really tyes real life to a magical world and you can get lost completely in it. i would NOT read these books OUT OF ORDER. You will have no idea what is going on. but these books, espically this one, is AMAZING. :D

My favorite teen read!!
I really loved this book. i read it one year ago during the Twilight craze ( at that time I was over the whole twilight thing) and I actually thought it was better than all of the Twilight series. The plot is much more interesting, and the Clary is not such a damsel in distress like Bella. I like that Clary is tough and can stand on her own. The Damsel in distress thing is just so typical now. City of Glass(in fact the whole series) kepp you thinking , and madly flipping the pages, hoping and cheering for the main characters, and reading all through the night. it is so good, that at the upsetting parts, I actually slammed my book on my desk in class once. Embarresing, but it is really that good.

A fantasy world that I would LOVE to live in!
I didn't think i was going to find a series BETTER then the Hunger games until this series came along! From the start, it had me hooked! I fell in love with Jace and Clary, and *spoilers* i KNEW that it was going to work out for them in the end! This book is just as exciting and just as suspenseful as Hunger Games, and i never thought i would find another book like that! If you haven't read these books: read them. NOW. You won't regret it! and don't listen to people who say there is too much sexual tension blah blah blah and cussing. Who cares! what kinda book would it be if it didn't?! These are teenagers reading these books, not 5 year olds! trust me, they have seen MUCH worse! I thought the series was over after this book until i did some research and found out that there were 3 more books to come! AMAZING! You will fall in love with this book series, i guarantee it!

When I finished it I went back to the begging and read it all over again!
I never ever read a book so cool! The mortal instruments have everything a great book needs to have: love, fantasy, mystery.
