I LOVE ALL OF THESE BOOKS!!! I HAVE EVERY SINGLE ONE IN THE SERIES!!!!!! THIS IS A GREAT BOOK AND I RECOMMEND THE WHOLE SERIES TO EVERYONE!!! I ALSO RECOMMEND THE MOVIE! AND FOR THOSE WONDERING DIARY OF A WIMPY KID 5: THE UGLY TRUTH IS COMING OUT NOVEMBER 9TH 2011!!!!
I love the Diary of A Wimpy Kid!Even though they say this is the mildest book in the series. It sure mad me laugh! The part where Greg watched a horror movie with Rowley was interesting and kind of weird.A muddy hand which kills it's victim and the last person who sees it will be the next victim.A must read for everyone who loves sneaking in their sister's/brother's diary will surely love this one!
i saw no proplem with this book cs also forgot the movie diary you should have seen me and my best friend ethen in class at the time i was the only one in the whole grade who had the book and me and ethen were siting next to each other i showed him the sweaty part we almost got in tople for lol so loud in class
This book is simply the best in the series. It is easy to read and fun, having lots of pictures and comics. There is a part which would scare someone under five, which is when Greg and Rowley sneak a horror movie from Rodrick's room, and the movie and how it is described might have little kids having nightmares about it. It is also mention several times afterward. Greg makes bad choices, including him running onto a thrill ride he's not ready for, just because his brother said you can't be a man without going on it. Greg also writes what he feels about things, like when he goes to a water park and specifically states that it's for three year-olds. In the picture, his family is the only one with children over two foot. When Greg's grampa says to Greg's dad that he actually ran over his childhood dog, Frank gets mad and buys a dog quickly. Dog Days is perfect for kids 6+, that is after they've read the first three.
I LOVE Diary of a Wimpy Kid!! It is my faviroute comedy book ever. Greg's parents play good role models and give you positive messages!!! I have read all four now and I am just about to start The Ugly Truth. Can't wait and also... BUY THESE FAB BOOKS!!!!!!
As long as you have the time and patience to read these books [Each book is like 200 pages but easy reading], you will fall in love with them. :D Greg can be a bad role model at times, but it always ends well. The story can`t be all well in good, that`s what makes it a story! Jeez! Best book in the series yet, but I would totally recommend starting with the first book. The best are yet to come! Yay Jeff Kinney!
The only reason I said it was good for 12 on up, is because it has alot to do about puperty in these books and things, It's not BAD for kids under that age, but they might not understand a few of the things that happens with Greg, and his puperty. These books are apropriete, and funny but I think the
This is actually a pretty good book, one of my favorite of the many I have read. Kids about 9-10 and up would like this book especially mature tweens and teens.
Greg is mean to his best friend and is disrespectful to his elders. A scary muddy hand frightens Greg at a sleepover and scares him during the entire book. Greg has a crush on a high school girl and talks about a long term relationship. Butts are shown many times in the story. Although she can be pesty sometimes, Greg's mom is only trying her best to be a good mother. Words such as fart and idiot is used.
i think it is a good book because its funny, educational, sets good role models and explains bad ones, and its just a plain well written book!!!! ENJOY!!!!
