Summer Reading Book for 15 and 16 Year Olds
Lots of swearing including f--k, f--got, s--t, and g---amn. Talk of sexual diseases and fantasies. Mentions of war violence and sequences of battle.

Do not read this book--better out there
The book should not be read in public schools, there are so many other great books that provide teenage struggles and better help guide teenagers without all the harsh profanity.

It shows people how the world was at that time, and portrays the war from a different point of view

Let the kid know what the real world like! They're gonna eventually learn that it not a Utopia, swearing and mugging is what the real world is.

My son found this book very good. He said it tells you what war is really like and what it is like to go through it. I tells what it does to soldiers and their daily lives are like.

Really Great!!
This book is really great but just barely acceptable for my age. Surely NO ONE under 14!

Why all the red? I read this in eigth grade and it was fine!
That was two years ago, when I was thirteen (so I guess that means I agree with the age CSM chose), and I didn't think there was as much bad stuff in the book as everyone else is making it seem to have.

Let kids and parents decide
War is not pretty; neither is the novel. Decide for yourself.

This game is definitely the most musically amusing movie I have ever listened too.
This game is almost as violent as the average bowle of cereal, which is EXTREMELY fat. This movie never swears, except when you hear a mute character say "curtainhe****wer" and "googolnu**ets" and "vaccumcl**ner", all in one breath, but then he got shot by an energy sword.
