i just finnished this book i couldn't put it down!! i hate reading but this book was awesome! love the ending and the dad in the story is mean put it is just telling you looks aren't as important as everone makes them out to be. im 12 and absoultly loved it! parents i would suggest this book for them.
Juilianna isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in but, Bryce is...this book is a lot like the book StarGirl i have read. You should read both! ;) :D
This book is wonderful i love the way juli acts and bryce too i think that juli should trusted bryce again even though bryce through away julis eggs and she made fun ok her uncle david.
I LOVED THIS BOOOOOOOOOOOOOK! i love how it was set up! it was cool becuse you can't find many love storys with kids this age in it i highly recomend it girls and guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I simply love the book (the film, too). I like reading the same scenes from different points of views and seeing how Bryce sees some events in a completely different light. I guess you can really relate to the characters and that's what makes it so great. :-)
I LOVED THIS BOOK. It's a story for kids throughout middle school i read it in my 8th grade year and i couldn't forget about it. During that year i was looking for books that really targeted my age, not book that involved 16-18 year olds, so when i found this book i was surprised, because not many books were like this. It really showed how growing up is and how middle school goes. It had a real life approach to it unlike some other book which made me love it. It also showed what was happening from both Julie's and Bryce's point of view so you can see how their feelings change. I would recommend this book to all kids in middle school, it's about crushes, rumors, and how things change, but it is told in a very real, almost old fashioned way. Its a very life changing book about how we see and treat others.
I love this boook sooo much! The stroyline is great, and the only bad thing is a few times when someone swears. The characters aare friendly and it's a great story to read such as for a book club or other.
Amazing book. Absolutely love it and it teaches children to look at the mentally challenged as people and not "retards".
Hilarious misconceptions between guys and gals.
Adorable storyline. Great message: don't just fall for guys based on their looks.
I read it in middle school and re-read it in high school.
I just hate how Juli's family is "amazing" and Bryce's is "horrible" it makes the book too black and white.
i love this book because it has a lot to do with drama and how this girl fights for what she really loves and cares for
i would recomend thsi book for anybody to read i personally think that guys would enjoy reading it to
I really liked the book. My friend told me to read it and i enjoyed it very much. It's a really good book for pre-teens. The only thing I thought was bad was the band name. Also Juli's brothers and friends weren't the nicest and most charming people around. Beside that, Bryce's dad was kind of rude about Juli's home and family. I really loved the book. A fun and easy novel to read.
It's a horrible and annoying book. The girl decides to tackle the new boy, she helps him CHEAT on a test, and she ATTACKS an obviously nice girl that the new boy is dating. And in the end, the boy falls in love with her for absolutley no reason.
OMG BEST BOOK EVER!! I LOVE IT!! SO REALISTIC!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! IT IS MY NEW FAVE BOOK!! ANYBODY FROM 10-12 WILL LOVE IT!! IT IS WONDERFUL!! READ IT!! IF YOU LIKE IT READ MONSTER HIGH!! JOIN MOSHIMONSTERS!!
It teaches kids to not like a person for how they looks its how they act and it also teaches them that if you talk behind someones back they may no longer trust you. I just finished the book, i finished it in 2 days because i never set it down when my perents asked me to do something i walked with the book in my hands. It's a good book for guys and girl from 12 and up and maybe sometimes if your 11 and mature enough to understand romance. I absolutly loved the book and i thing that kids my age would love this book and would start reading a little more than they do. In one case there is 1 or 2 words that arn't the best but other than that the book is an amazing and perfectly fine book.
i think it is a great book to teach kids and young adults that it isnt right to judge until you really meet someone and finally get to truely know them.
