i am 8 years old and have read up to the third book. and by far this book is my favorite - the ending is a bit more creepy than the first book,a little sad too.i might not watch the movie though.
Wanna another great review? Well, here it is! "Chamber of Secrets" combines magic, fantasy, animals, beauty, love, and friendship all in one. If you're looking for a good read, here's your book!!! Nothing to worry about, even less worrisome that the first!!! Only thing is that the book is a bit too violent and it's not as good as the first.
this book is AWESOME better tah the first with realy great role models and an exciting story. this book highly point is violence but nothing realy bad. and tense chapters is the most. but GREAT
Only for kids above eight? That is ridiculous! I read Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets when I was barely seven years old, and I loved it (and continued to read the whole series, which I have now completed 12 times) It is an amazing tale of magic, friendship, and follows the principle of good triumphing over evil.
yes i give something to know, it gets longer, and longer as you read the next one so this one is longer then the 1st one but, shorter thanthe 3rd one.....
Personally, I liked the first book better, but the Chamber of Secrets is perfect if you're looking for that depth of extra mystery. It's really good and I would still recommend it infinitely for all ages, but this one might be a bit of a bad influence for young, immature kids because it has a lot of references like rule-breaking and flying cars. But I still love this book!
Spiders, snakes, and attacking trees may keep your child's skin covered in goosebumps, which might not be a bad thing because they'll have to read it until the end! Rowling's books will encourage your kids to read more often.
Nice J.K. Rowling nice seguel to Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.I reccomend it to a lot of children.EPIC Note that no person should try to read Harry Potter out of order because you wont get the story to well.Voldemort appears.Violent at some point but when you read it you never go to Wikipedia for what happens I did that a lot and I regret it but I did it.SO if you loved Harry Potter one read this one. 99.98 thumbs up Rowling.
There are positive roll model in this book because Harry, Ron, and Hermonie get rewarded for their bravery. It is a good book and somewhat a mystery. Good second book in the series. It is for ages 8 and up
The second book in the exhilarating Harry Potter series is chalk-full of magic and self sacrifice. Just like the first book, characters are again in peril, and some are turned to stone. There are mentions that, every time the Chamber opens, a Hogwarts student dies. Hermione is called a "mudblood" by Draco Malfoy, a term meaning "dirty blood" in the wizarding world and considered offensive. But Rowling again serves up something that will keep kids as well as adults satisfied and hungry for more.
the book was and still is wonderful, bit scary for lilltle kid but if you think its aproprite you read it to them.
