HORRIBLE!!!!
okay, so i read this series when i was 6. even then i thought junie b. was too rude, impulsive, and a bad, bad, VERY bad role model! if you respect yourself, don't let your kids read this. or yourself. kids will get a bad idea of how to act in front of grownups.

Why oh why, Barbara Park?
Junie B. Is always calling people "stupid" and "dumb" and "bladdermouth May" and in her "essential" school guide, she said not to call people names. She does call people names, but the ones she says thats good are just as worse as the mean names. Anyways, Pregnancy in the first book? Monsters? Children pouring chocolate milk into some other child's head? What kind of sick minds do characters have? Oh, wait, children staying at school AFTER school? What kind of sick mind does this author have? Oh wait, DEAD FISH AS PETS?!? That's completely disgusting, nasty, and sick! And earthworms as pets too. OMG.

Bad Role Model
Junie is so annoying. She's not spelling things right, and her grammar is incorrect. Young kids will start do talk like that. How annoying!!!

BAD BOOK
I just read the first few pages of the book and I felt as if I wanted to shoot myself. No kidding. I was shocked when I read that she called her friend dumb bunny and other words like heck and just the way she acts. I couldn't even read the rest of the book. In my opinion I think that kids will learn these behaviors and start acting like a rotten brat such as this Junie B. Jones. Terrible book.

Junie B. shows kids how to have fun and what to do when they face problems! It's a great way to get a child interested in reading if you're exaggerating just like she does! Junie B. was probably my first ever chapter book I read and I still read them when I'm feeling sad! They send out positive messages such as, "Be yourself", "Treat others how you want to be treated", and "Be good during school". Also there is some education, when you get to the first grader Junie. B books and Mr. S. tells her what words like "rambunctious" mean. *Note: If 5 or 6 year old is reading these, I suggest a parent being by their side to help them read.

Not a good series, bad role models.
Junie B Jones is NOT a positive role model for kindergarten-2nd grade kids. She always says things like "Stupid" and "Dumb bunny". My teacher read this to me in 1st grade and I was horrified! Why would the author make Junie B say stuff like that and she knows it is a kids book! My little sister in 2nd grade came up to me and said, "You're a dumb bunny!" And I'm like, "Woah! Where did you learn that?!" And she said with a shrug, "Junie B Jones says it." I don't like it at all. A better series for kids 6-8 years is Cam Jansen or The Magic Treehouse.
