Great read!
An exciting, dramatic, and frightening book that gives readers a view of what could happen to our world if a catastrophic event occurs. Scary read, and some younger readers might find the idea of an apocalyptic world too much to handle.

Great Book!
One of the best books ever. A teacher shared it with me in the 6th grade. Great book. High marks. A little language here and there, the whole concept really makes you put things in perspective.

One of the best books ever.
I am nearly 15 and I first read this book when I was about 12. I fell in love with this book. Miranda is such a good role model because she had to fight for her life and for her family. I really loved reading about how the world went from being totally normal to being nearly dead. I really really loved this book.

Must read!
It's a good book but morbid. I would say the only thing that people wouldn't like about this book is that it's too scary. I suggest reading it in the morning, afternoon, or in a room with family if you have any chance of being scared. After I read this book I appreciated the things around me more.

I never lost intrest in Life As We Knew It
I really enjoyed this book. I really liked the suspense. It had such good and detiled parts. Like when Miranda's mother took her out of school and they all rushed to the grocery store and bought everything they could. I also liked it when she described all the disasterous parts like when the cold weather came, her mom got sick, and the roof caved. It's an incredible book. I hope to read a lot more of Susan's books!!!!!!! ~Keely, 12~

Great Book, Great Grade!
I loved it when I read it for a school project. All I had to do was find a Science Fiction book and out of the four or five I found I picked it when my teacher said I could only check out one of them. Now that I'm done with the project, I'm glad I picked it!

One of the best books ever
This book is one of the best books that i have ever read. There is language here and there, but not seriously offensive. Miranda and Dan share a few kisses. A parent does commit suicide after her daughter dies from starving herself. After I read this book, it did kind of freak me out a little because I kept thinking about all that I have, and how grateful I am for all those things my mom does for me.. It even made me think about how the world could end up like that.. Anyone around the age of 11 & up can read this book.

Absolutely Fantastic
This book was absolutely amazing. I don't like a lot of books (I'm a picky reader) but I couldn't put this book down. I highly recommend reading this book. It sends many positive messages and it's the kind of story that any person would like to read.
