This is a beautiful dystopian book. There is a beautiful message of love, relationships and the importance of memories and the passing of time. It makes you questions what does it mean to be a human. Absoloutly beautiful.

great book for older teens. good mesaage portrayed through the story.

This book is literally my favorite book of all time. I read it when I was 14 and it resonated with me deeply. It is definitely a heavy book in terms of the material and ostensible message, but I disagree that it has to be interpreted as depressing. In fact, I think the message is ultimately one of hope. It is certainly not a book to just skim through and maybe is not for everyone, but it is certainly very thought-provoking and it will change the way you look at the world. I recommend this book for mature readers and thinkers who would like to expand their horizons!
