best book out of the saga! This deals with the loss of romance and how sometimes its hard to cope with the situation.. and way more intense and action packed compared to the first/.

Just read it.. matter of fact.. read all four books!
I loved this book. It is very on point with the way teenagers over react to break ups and regular high school drama with a touch of the supernatural to make it interesting. A great bit of fun!

Entertaining action--but not great role models for teens
I'm an adult and I enjoyed this--but keep in mind I'm a Harry Potter fan. I like the fantasy and mythical creatures. The love triangle is a bad example of what you should do at any age. At least there is some remorse on the part of Bella. And her attitude is a bit annoying--but then maybe that's the Mom in me coming out!

From the 4 books , this one is actually okay written, Jacob is the only character that comes as real on this series, But like I said anti-feminist all over again. Bella needs Edward's permision to see Jacob, even though he is her best friend, she is still lying to her dad, and does not care at all about her friends at school. This books have no morals, or real friendship. The only chapter I liked was about Jasper and Not Bella and Edward. At least Jasper and Alice can keep to each other.

again this series is way too anti-feminist, Romance shouldn't be about killing yourself. Bella tries to kill herself becuase she feels bad, we all feel bad at some point, but the brave ones stand up to life, the cowards, try to jump off a clif. Also Bella needs protection from Men, either Edward or Jacob she is a Mary sue. Meyer is a horrible writter

Horrible role models, fans and characters alike
Bella can't live without a man. I'll leave it at that, and just say that while this book can be enjoyable, it should not be read by impressionable minds. The fans of this series can get crazy - so don't take your kid to a midnight premier of anything, because people have been nearly crushed to death by "Twi-hards."

simply wonderful
I loved the twilight movie, so I knew that I would love the book New Moon. I don't think I have ever been aching to pick a book up, this was different I couldn't hardly get anything else done. Bella is selfish in a very understanding way. it just makes every other book to follow much more interesting.

Not good
This book was sort of boring. Though I was glad to see some independence in Bella - she's such a bad role model... and not a very interesting character... weak.

great love story
I didn't think the common sense review was hardly fair for this, because it's not just about a seventeen year old who is in love with a vampire. And it's not over long either in fact after you or your child read this your going to be wishing it was longer. And parents do your kid a favor and let them read this. there is no language or anything else bad for that matter. I haven't seen a person who has read it, and it's not there favorite series.

So while I absolutely was entranced by the first book, the second was a disappointment. There was a lot of language, and especially from a Mormon author, I was shocked that she would include such language on a book especially geared and targeting the younger readers. My 12 year old sister loved the first book. After reading it, and loving it, despite the quite passionate exploits of teenage love, the second I approached with caution. I told my sister I would read it before her and see how appropriate for a 12 year old. Needless to say, the language alone kept me from giving my sister my approval. Along with the ever so melancholy and depressing mind of Bella after Edward leaves, it is definietly not an uplifting piece of literature. I step lightly as I even dare to think of reading the next. My sister, however, I consider saved from an exposure to such a dark, tactless piece of fiction.

Love the Series
i loved the book new moon. You cant stop reading, i couldnt put the book down. The only part i didnt really like was the fct that Edward leaves for so long. He pretty much the best part of the book and hes gone for over half of it but the ending makes up for it. Its very creativie and theres some action to wich i loved!!!

Least favorite of the 3
This was my least favorite of the Twilight series...BUT an important part of the story that is necessary to lead into "Eclipse'. I still really enjoyed this book. I would let my kids read this, but i know what my kids can handle.

Another great book in the series, I loved it! Although not my favorite one, this book is necessary when taking the series into account.

Not as good as Twilight
While I enjoyed this book, it was not as good as Twilight. Also, there were times I just wanted to slap Bella and tell her to get on with her life (when Edward left), but I do remember just how hard that is to do when your heart is broken. My biggest complaint is that Edward wasn't in this book enough. If you haven't read Twilight, READ IT FIRST.

Good, but somewhat slow at parts
The books were recommended to me by friends, and I really enjoyed them. New Moon is a bit slower, as the Cullens are only in the beginning and the end, and the plot seemed to jump around a little bit. I would definitely recommend reading it twice, so that you go back and catch the stuff missed in trying to hurry to see what happens to Edward. I would recommend them to a mature teen audience.

Great for teens, but iffy for tweens
I just love the whole Twilight series! I read them when I was 12, and I don't think that kids should really be any younger than that because they would appreciate it more when they are older. Great book, it almost made me crey at one point
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
perfect for who don't like vampires movies
i hate twinlight,is too pacific to a vampire movieand book(but i don't think those things are vampires i think they are aliens)

Suckish story with lame morals
Bella gets depressed when her (sparkly) boyfriend leaves her. She's like a black hole. Bella does dangerous things because she can hear Edward's voice inside her head. When there's a possibility that Edward can come back, Bella completely dumps Jacob.
- I rate this title on for age 11 and give it
over all a good book
Bella falls into a depression. Jacob brings her out of it and is my favorite person in the saga. My favorite book in the saga.A very good book.

Twilight is great but do not like the characters
Love the saga but really do not like the characters. None of the characters in this series are very human at all, they are all not very well thought through, and very perfect with set ideas. The characters are not relatable. Edward is so selfless and perfect that through the saga he just gets really annoying nad the same oes for bella who is revealed to be not so selfless and infact very self involved.

- My highlights are:

"New Moon" the best
Definitely the best book out of the saga. The book is about the love, loss, and friendship that Bella encounters and i think that if you were going to decide to read just one of the Twilight books, it should be New Moon.

New Moon book review
The book New Moon by Stephanie Meyer is a great book for those who want to read an exciting story. Bella and Edward first met in the first book, Twilight. They become good friends until Edward and his family move away due to their secret. Bella goes through many obstacles with her new friend, Jacob, after Edward leaves. when Bella comes home one day to find a familiar face inside her houes, things suddenly pick up in the story and Bella ends up going to Italy. I thought this book was good. Towards the beginning it was slow. The middle was okay and th end really picked up to the point where I couldn't put it down. New Moon answered many of my questions after I finished reading the first book in the saga.

WORST TWILIGHT BOOK EVER!
WORST TWILIGHT BOOK EVER! OK so I read the first book and I was hooked, expecting something better, and then Smeyer writes New Moon. An epic-fail of a novel! The Volturi are the only cool vampires because they actully kill people! Just horrible!

Role Models?
Good. But for a Christian girl like me and many more we shouldn't obsess over vampires. Good book but, no so great role models.

Equivalent to its predecessor, satisfactory-wise
Book Review: I finally finished the highly anticipated "New Moon" last night and must say I was impressed. It is a very long book and could get tedious at moments, but for the majority of the book, it was entertaining. If you enjoyed Twilight, you'll like this as well. Stephanie's New Moon book is highly similar with Twilight, by the writing and characters. All I can say is that the book is highly entertaining and is a great follow-up to Twilight and is equivalent in the satisfactory department of its predecessor. Parental Advisory: I think the book is appropriate for ages eleven and up. There is some kissing, but there's not a plethora of it. There is minimal to no profanity and the profanity spoken is very tame, examples include "hell" and "d*mn'. There is no drinking or drugs. There's more violence here but not grotesque and not used at an excess. Overall: 4/5 I recommend this book to avid book readers. Great writing and characters. I'm starting on Eclipse and will do a review on that when I'm done.

mot the best twilight book but still pretty good....

Good for 12+
I really liked the twilight book, but the New Moon book didn't impress me as much. It was a lot slower. There aren't really any issues except a little violence.
