Another somewhat depressing book from Lemony Snicket. SPOILERS OF THINGS THAT WILL STARTLE SOME PEOPLE
Count Olaf disguised as Stepahno tells the Baudelaire to get in the d--n jeep. He also threatens them with a knife. He stabs kind Uncle Monty with snake poison, and Uncle Monty's killed.
I think it is okay for kids as long as they understand what this all means. Not for little little kids as there might be a couple moments they may be scared like when Count Olaf Threatens the Children. But it's an alright book other then that. It even gives a couple postive messages like "More good then bad in this world" But it tells also that even though life gets bad, You can always find a way out...
Even though this book has only the ''d'' word, it's still a great book. All the rest of his books don't, so don't go on thinking every single book has one. I remember I loved the books so much, I didn't want to even take a break from them!
i just ended the first book, thinking it would be better. i liked it till chapther 8.i don't know if you belive me,but they swore.they said da**,and He**.one person died,a kinfe is heard, and if you don't like snakes,do not read ANY more of this review.going to read book 3 next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While reading the second installment of a series of unfortunate events, the imagery was so clear in my mind that i was there IN the reptile room, watching the second compelling chapter unfold...
This book series is all about misfortune. No book in this series has a happy ending. You may not believe this from what I just told you, but these books are fun to read.
