"Yo, I went "poopin' IN THE POTTY"

My 6 year old son loves this book but i found it quite inapropreate for my 4 year old daughter. She told her preschool teachers about the page were Ferdinand's tushy was up close. Also, it is very violent when the bulls stick eachother with there horns. Although my son can handle this violent criteria. He has become very rude to the nanny lately and instead of saying "I went to the restroom" he said 'Yo, I went "poopin" in the potty" . I do not know were he got this inapropreate language but i think it is from Music Televsion, a strange show has been watching, umm, Jersey Shore, I think it is. I think it may be about the lovely beauty of the New Jershey shores, but I guess my son is getting othe messages from it. In conclusion, this book is GOOD, and appropreate for 6 year olds.

This to to "Yo, I went poopin the the potty"

Umm yes, hi. My name is Laurie. I also happen to have a 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter...what I wanted to say was...well, i think you're a little to tough on them- They're just kids! They want to have fun, have the freedom to read and watch what they want. I'm not saying you should let them go crazy, but lighten up!!!
