Families Can Talk About

  • Families can talk about the view of vampirism here. It sounds like a one-way ticket to superhero powers -- what's the downside? Why is Edward reluctant to let Bella become one? Why, aside from her love for Edward, might Bella want it?

one of the best books i've ever read!!!!!!!!!! it is not very inappropriate, i mean i read it when i was 10. the only thing that may not work for younger children is that they might not understand it or grasp its thrilling aspect.

    Ugh!

Characters too perfect, plot line predictable, flat characters, protagonist is an absolute brat to her dad, unoriginal, way too mushy, Edward is an abusive freak, I could go on. All in all, pretty much the worst book I've ever read.

    Twilight- Okay

I think Twilight is the least violent of the series. My kids are begging me to let them read it, so I'm reading it to them. They like it but I'm not reading it to my four year old. It's violent and there is a bit of concern of drama.
