This book was amazing! If you love mystery elements and word puzzles, this is your book! I liked the diversity as well.

Boring.
This book took me so long to finish because it was so boring. The characters are annoying and it’s not entertaining at all. I almost quit the book.

Spooky Mystery
This is one of my favorite books!
Elizabeth's parents have died and her awful aunt and uncle send her away to a strange hotel. She explores the hotel and finds clues to why she's there.
There are some spooky parts that some people might find really scary.

Spooky, spellbinding winter mystery is unputdownable
One day I’m just paging through the ‘recent books’ section in the library catalog and I found a summary for this book. Just my luck, it sounded amazing! I had to request a hold and I am definitely lucky I read this. This book is probably my favorite that I’ve read so far in 2018. When I saw Common Sense Media had a Review for this book I just had to write one. The ONLY thing CSM got wrong is the star rating. Don’t listen to anything less than 5 stars. The book is a bit spooky and hard to understand for kids younger than about 10, but for those who can understand it this book is a must-read and something you’ll want to pass on. Ben Guterson is, based on his outstanding debut novel, an author to definitely watch out for! The only problem readers might have with the book is its length. The book is pretty thick and it took me a while to read, but it was most definitely worth it when I got to the end. I will absolutely die if another installment doesn’t come out in a year or so. This is a must-have for reluctant readers and bookworms alike! Parents, if you have a middle grader you should definitely buy them this book! You’ll want to read it too!
