    A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!

"A Tessersct, the fifth diension of time travel". This book has always been my favorite. It takes you away from reality and makes you feel as though you are traveling to different dimensions right along with Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin in an adventure to understand the unknown and to find their father after his mysterious dissapearance on a secret mission

THIS IS MAI FAVORITE BOOK EVA!! YAY!! But, They include language, Including the under world. And the one that is not always a bad word but is sometimes a bad word. They kiss mai friend, THEY KISSSSS! But its beautiful...... The characters are good role models, Meg is misunderstood, just like alot of kids. Charles is really sweet, and even though hes smarter than the rest, he dosnt show off about it. Calvin is the one that PUSHES HIMSELF. pfft. Show off. And he principal may make people think all principals are bad. But this story is so beautiful. It teaches you the important things in life. I cried once... Please read this book. DONT watch the movie. I MEAN, MEG DOSNT HAVE GLASSES OR BRACES. PFFFFFFT. Now please read the best book eva!!

meg is determined to find her father and bring him back home, which is a good trait. It can be somewhat confusing of what is going on though.

    good for fantasy lovers

A Wrinkle in Time has not only an interesting storyline but it's really easy to follow, too. The characters are easy to relate to because of the normality of their lives. I also loved the vocabulary because it was easy to understand, but it made me feel smart reading words like mitochondria. Also, this book is great for those of us who like to escape to fantsy worlds, which is what young yet avid readers are looking for..

    Like visiting an old friend.

This book is one of the best children's books available. Every home and library should have a copy. It is the first book in a very, very intriguing series. There is nothing wrong at all with this book.

I loved this book! I have read it three times. I don't see how anybody could find this boring or "lame" as the thirteen year old said. Charles Wallace and Meg and Calvin are very good role models who teach you to use your brain to solve problems instead of asking other people to solve them for you. Five stars for this book!

    a classic must read

This book is really wonderful and has such a special meaning (you have to read and it is how Charles Wallace saves the others) My son loves it and I have read it to him twice, we also bought the movie, which is very good. Kids will love this book. It could be a bit scary for younger children so beware of that.

to each his own, I suppose...

I honestly don't see why there are kids my age saying that they found it incredibly broing, it put them to sleep, whatever. I read this book when I was 9, and I LOVED it. It was very exciting for me and I loved every singly line in this book. But everyone can have their own opinion, I guess.

It Was The Worst Thing Possible: Boring

I just couldn't get into it at all. I couldn't even get past the first few chapters. And I love to read, and I've read many classics that other people called boring and loved them, but this book just wasn't compelling for me. I don't know, maybe it's something that girls enjoy more than guys.

I think this is an absolutely, positively awesome book. It is a must be read book. Madeline L'engle is a great author. Keep it up Madeline!

Favourite book as a child and still is

I think I've had 5 copies of this book and the other 2 in the series and I keep giving them away so others can read them. This was my favourite book as a child and I still read it once a year just to keep fresh- make sure you and your child read it together at least once for a discussion as some of the concepts might be a little over the top for the younger crowd, particularly in book two but the characters fit just about anybody and are very likeable. I think what makes the series special to me personally even now is that though it is not a religious series, there are a few theories touched on that have backed up my spiritual life into adulthood so I keep replacing those books- my last set was a wedding gift I intend to keep this time, lol!
