A Science-Fiction book geared towards younger kids
This book contained lots of science and bonds in friendship. Also this book contained good role models telling us to never give up. Meg showed this by persisting in finding her father and protecting her brother.

Perfect for sci-fi lovers
I found it boring and confusing. It is sci-fi, which is not my favorite category in my books.

Freaky
OK, I read this book when I was 10-11, and it really scared me. The whole thing with the little boy being brainwashed and the people being controlled and everything was really scary. It's also REALLY weird. I have read it several times, and it's a good book, but I just don't like it.

Some concerns, but touching story.
THIS IS MAI FAVORITE BOOK EVA!! YAY!! But, They include language, Including the under world. And the one that is not always a bad word but is sometimes a bad word. They kiss mai friend, THEY KISSSSS! But its beautiful...... The characters are good role models, Meg is misunderstood, just like alot of kids. Charles is really sweet, and even though hes smarter than the rest, he dosnt show off about it. Calvin is the one that PUSHES HIMSELF. pfft. Show off. And he principal may make people think all principals are bad. But this story is so beautiful. It teaches you the important things in life. I cried once... Please read this book. DONT watch the movie. I MEAN, MEG DOSNT HAVE GLASSES OR BRACES. PFFFFFFT. Now please read the best book eva!!

Great for 8+
I love this book because it's mysterious, adventurous, couragous, and fun to read! It's great for all ages! Meg and Charles Wallace are great role models and the book has a great message. Though, one character, Mrs. Whatsit, steals blankets from a neighbor. The book is enjoyable and fun and I recommend it to everyone

really good
i really like this book. it may be hard to understand for some kids.its still my favorite book. if anyone hates this book its just because you are bored of reading. i like this book because its scifi and its kind of similar to earthbound zero. they defeat the main villain because of love just like in earthbound zero. i dont get why people hate this.

A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!
"A Tessersct, the fifth diension of time travel". This book has always been my favorite. It takes you away from reality and makes you feel as though you are traveling to different dimensions right along with Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin in an adventure to understand the unknown and to find their father after his mysterious dissapearance on a secret mission

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
A Wrinkle in Time is a remarkably unique book! L'Engle makes a normal girl--Meg Murry--who doesn't like how she looks, and, with skill, turns it into a story. Meg gets taken (with her incredibly smart 5-year-old brother, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe, a popular high school basketball player) on a sci-fi adventure through time, space, and dimensions to find her lost father, Dr. Murry, and to save the universe. Extremely suspenseful and interesting; I couldn't put it down! From KC's Best Reviews and More on Blogger

I have no idea why do the other kid users hate this book.
Everyone has their opinions,I know. But to this book,it was called a classic because it was beautifully-written and is now in an age above 45.The first few pages suddenly made me excited.Yes,it is a bit weird.But.Sometimes when a page of a book contains some weird, unexpected stuff,it just makes the story more interesting.

Think twice, Christians!
Well, if you are a christian family, you might need to think twice about reading this. A character, Mrs. Whatzit, asks the three children of some "heroes". One character says "Jesus Christ" and they also say things like "Shakespeare" and other people. Some people think it's good that they said His name, but think about it. They are comparing Jesus to other people who have sinned and maybe wrote bad books. So read carefully.

Fantastic, but slightly creepy
This book has no overt violence, but does have an element of creepiness, and strangeness, that sensitive kids will be affected by. It really makes you think.

Somewhat Boring
I thought this book was really boring. I tried reading it in third grade and stopped on page like 50. So I've recently bought it and decided to give it another try now that I'm older. I guess once you read a book and don't like it you just don't like it.
