Parents need to know that Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered is a short animated feature in which well-known superheroes appear in Lego form. Though it's obviously a commercial, the playful quirkiness at work here should be as entertaining for adults as it is for kids. There is some cartoon violence: Characters shoot lasers, fight, and pursue villains.

In LEGO DC COMICS: BATMAN BE-LEAGUERED, Batman, as sullen and independent as ever, refuses to be helped by Superman (Troy Baker) or any of the other superheroes and continues to avoid their requests to join them in the Hall of Justice. This changes when, one by one, Superman, the Flash, Aqua Man (Dee Bradley Baker), Wonder Woman, and Cyborg vanish into thin air. Somewhat reluctantly, Batman decides to find out what happened to them. Upon arriving at the Hall of Justice, he encounters Batmite, an irritating superfan of Batman who has taken the other superheroes prisoner to impress him. It's up to Batman to outwit Batmite and up to the other superheroes to find a way to escape the cage in which Batmite has placed them.
¿Qué tan buena es?
Though most certainly a commercial aimed at kids, this short movie surprises by being entertaining for adults as well. There's enough playful quirkiness in Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leagueredto keep everyone interested. The familiar superheroes are self-aware versions of their more familiar selves, and what emerges is engaging action, funny dialogue, and a sense of mystery as each superhero seemingly vanishes into thin air one by one. It's not the greatest superhero story out there, but it's enjoyable for what it is.
