Best for older children, no little ones!

You play as brave soldiers who fight for a good cause. The game is edecatioal and a good call of duty. This really phused the envelop, this is about as bad as T gets! It could ave passed for M, they said f**k ounce and said a lot of dam*, sh*t, Oh my god, crap, hell, a*s, and more. There was some blood and you could set people on fire with ease.

OK for older teens, Inappropriate for tweens or younger

The game industry has again placed parents of those younger than 16 in a tough position as "game cop" Yes, the game does recount the history of WWII. However, the first person shooter aspect is clearly inappropriate for those younger than 16. The game industry values profits over people.

    More of the same.

After playing the first two games in the series, the third is THE SAME THING, just different views. Don't get me wrong though, it's still fun. Minimal blood, bodies litter the battlefield, your standard warfare language and violence. Get COD 4 instead if you have the choice.

    An intense WWII FPS

This game is chalk full of violence and language. There are also conflicts and deaths within the group of protagonists which can add to the intensity of the game. There are close combat scenes, face to face confrontations and some disturbing images.

    Excellent game

This WW2 game has excellently designed combat scenes, where one can achieve a goal, such as conquering an enemy outpost, or destroying communication equipment. Call of Duty 3 is nowhere near as graphic as many other FPS games, but of course still has some violence. This can actually be good, because it brings an element of realism in to the game, showing how stressful it might have been to fight in the war.

Great Educational Value, with exciting and realistic storyline

This game follows WWII exceptionally. The guns, the settings, the locations, the outfits. One feels as if they were watching and learning from a History Chanel special. I have learned so much, while defeating Germans in Europe. The game does involve shooting, but the violence and gore is very miniscule.

this game is more for teens

this game is really fun but the cut sceens have pretty foul language like sh!t,b!tch and b@$terd. but if you skip the cut sceens you'll only here a$$ hell and d@me a couple times. this game has a lot of shooting and there is some blood but not a lot of it.

    Perfect for any teenager

I just got this game yesterday, and I absolutely adore it. It is a very entertaining shooter, with easy controls and plenty of missions to keep you occupied. This game probably came close to an M rating purely because of the intensity, but the violence itself is nothing that an early teenager can't handle. I, myself, am only fifteen. I would say that if your child is under the age of thirteen, wait a bit. But the violence and language really aren't that bad.

violent, but have a good messege

This call of duty is like all of the other call of duty games. The game is like a simulation of world war 2 like the other call of duty's, yes, they are violent but they all have a good story.

    good game

16 and up?? there isnt that much blood and it doesnt stay on the ground u just see it in the air very quickly when you kill someone. Also bodies only stay on the battlefield in some levels on some parts they stay for a few seconds. Up in the "What Parents Need To Know" section it says While this Call of Duty game is rated "T" instead of "M" (unlike the first two in the series) They wrote that wrong because the first 2 in the series are rated T just like this one.

    ok game

this game is ok. i never played online so i dont know how much they swear online. i do know that in the campaign they CONSTANTLY use the d-word and h-word. also s.o.b. is used twice but at the same time. however this game has great role models. one sergeant gives his life for his country. one private who is a coward shows courage and is willing to die to prove he belongs in this war. one character who is shown more as a jokester becomes an incredible leader towards the end of the game. this game is pretty good and you can get it cheap at some places.

It is a fun outstanding game violent and a little mist of blood. Like I said it is a mature game with also a bundle of bad language like not the worst. Awesome game so fun a must play for non-stop action lovers like myself.

    GREAT!

This game taught me sooo much about WW2. The blood does spill when you shoot them but all in all I thought it wasnt that violent. The story was great but a little short. The graphics were pretty good though. It is a great game and it was enjoyed!

A good series and alright for children.

Here is another one of my reviews. This is a good game and a good series like Medal of honour. Violence: A bit of violence if up close you can see a bit of blood. Machine guns would tend to produce the most blood. The bodies don’t disappear instead just litter the battle field. Language: Not that bad but you do hear ba***rd and bi**h every so often says about 6 times in the game. Social behaviour, sex and drugs: A character smokes once but nothing else. Message: Teamwork is important and shows you what it was like in WW2. A good game recommend it for 9 and up.

The game of the last great war

In Call of Duty 3, you fight in World War 2 as an American private. They give you inside facts about the war like the kinds of guns, accusations, and vehicles are used and events that took place in the war. In this game there are several levels you do fighting with the British,French,Canadian, and Polish against the Germans. But surley, this is a game of fun!

    Great game

I think this game is fun and challenging. Even though fun, I request 10 and older, not because it's innapropriate but because it's challenging and requires smarticles, especially medium and hard. I think campaingn is more fun than live.

    Awesome

So awesome. Get it. It shows realism, and is very educational. cutscenes give historical facts on WWII and the blood level is very mild. This game should barely even be rated T !!! Still awesome, definite good buy!
