Not bad
This game isn't inappropriate at all. You don't even notice the bad words and references because you're only paying attention to the notes coming at you. I think, as with all other Guitar Hero games, it should be rated E10+. This game is awesome!

Give it a Rest, Parents
Well you know people this is an amazing video game and if your children are at all normal they have played it at their friends' houses. But this one does a few bad songs like "hot for teacher" which is obviously bad, but all the songs they bleep out the f and s words. But you know you don't have to play the bad ones! This GH does have some great songs like "eye of the tiger", "beat it", "hotel california", and "misery business"

The Best "GUITAR HERO" Videogame In Existence!!!!!!!
This is the best game ever! I play it every day! (They clear out only the words "f--k" and "s--t".) There are a few sexual references, such as in Blink-182's "Dammit": "the timing/and structure/did you hear/he f--ked her". There are a few violent messages, such as in B4MV's "Scream Aim Fire": "as I scream aim and fire/the death toll grows higher". There are a few drug references ("B.Y.O.B." by SOAD is totally about a drug party and people becoming high.). Otherwise, this game is totally appropriate!

fun, but addictive!
this is one of my favorite video games. as mentioned, some language is used, but most of it is censored. that's really my only concern. now that they added the beginner level, anybody can learn how to play! i'm not really going to say it's educational, but it gets addictive and eventually you'll end up with really fast fingers, hehe. world tour is one of the best guitar hero games, along with smash hits.

A great game to play with the whole family
Now that theyve added the beginner level my 6 yr old little brother can play with me! This game is so fun to play with the family. I like playing it with my mom and beating her every time. the game is pretty pricey though.

good game, rockband 2 is a whole lot better
people think guitar hero is better than rock band, I disagree, this is still a great game, although.

Great game for all.
It is all pretty much editable. You choose your own songs and create them. The have a difficulty which is almost unfailable for little kids but still maintain a difficulty for people who have played since the very first guitar hero.

I Love Guitar Hero!!!!
This game is okay and NOT iffy for any age group! It is fun! You can get a sponser and they will put you on the cover of a virtual magazine. No one else can see it. Only you can. Create virtual characters and rock out as them! And it is a lot of fun!

Copies Rock Band and Makes It Better
If your child can handle skimpy clothing (which he/she should by age 11) than this game is fine for them, it will even introduce them to some pretty dang good music (Jimi Hendrix! The Sex Pistols! The Eagles!).

Another Great In The Guitar Hero Series!!!
I've been playing the Guitar Hero games for a while and I find that the fourth installment in the series deserves it's place in the heart of all gamers, of any age and any walk of life. It truly let's anyone live the dream of 'being a rock star' and it would be lying to say that most people haven't dreamt seeing themself on stage! As for the 'iffy' lyrics, most kids don't pick up on them (I certainly didn't) and the real swear words are edited out. Another issue bordered on by others was the fact that many of the female characters were 'under dressed'. This is not true. Rock is now not only a style of music, but a fashion sense, and in some ways, a way of living. More over-protective adults need to accept this, as it is growing every day. But is Guitar Hero a 'good game'? I definitely think it is. The graphics, although nothing compared to games such as Halo 3, are fluid and good to watch, the interface is easy to get the hang of, and although maybe not easy to begin with, most people should be able to grasp the basics of this game. It also improves hand-eye coordination, relfexes, patience and even teamwork. This is why I believe that the younger the child who plays this game the better. It can only help it improve itself. I thank you very much for reading this and I wish you all a good day ;) RedWars28 P.S If they're are any serious Guitar Hero players out there, I'm looking for a team on gamebattles.com and I would be pleased to create a band with anybody willing =)

"peaches/trees" remark in "The Joker" too iffy for kids and tweens
On the Joker it said, "I like your peaches, I wanna shake your tree". This remark is very iffy. Still awesome.

A really, really, really good game.
It's too bad that they picked some songs with inappropriate lyrics, because if they didn't, this game would most likely be rated E. This game teaches teamwork, creativity and praise. This is the first guitar hero game with completely customizable characters, creatable songs that can then be published, and completely designable instruments. The only downside is the fact that if the team loses, it will go right into blaming each other.

B.Y.O.B
This song is the best song ever! It's just about as hard as Through the Fire and Flames! Only problem, kids under 13, I advise you not to look it up on the Internet, It includes a word used commonly in Grand Theft Auto...

WOW
WOW! MAn this Guitar Hero kid all the other ones butt. The drummer really moves to the beat and the singer i different all the time. A couple of bad things are the people have NO facial expresstions at all. They use a couple of words like hell, damn, and ass. The next thing is that the girls are not wearing anything inopropriote. They have full clothes. The games songs will blow your mind. Parents you will know all the songs out on that disk. The game is rated teen, but i think a 7 year old could get it. That is my review.
