This game - titled 'Hitman' is a huge title for violence - yes - you heard the title correctly - Hitman - however - in the graphics options - you can turn off the gore and blood - this is a plus - the language is mild and not really an issue. Your character carries around a syringe - however it is never shown in detail and is not used to harm - it is not confirmed to be dangerous or a drug. With the gore and blood off - this game is really not that violent and would classify as a 'T'/'12+' game. Coolchris330

What Parents Need to Know
This review of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin was written by Aaron Lazenby
Parents need to know that this game, though well-designed, is brutally violent and not for kids. You play the part of an expert executioner, and the violence is very graphic.
Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about whether ends ever justify the means. They can ask teens if there are things in their lives worth fighting for, and if there is something noble about someone who pursues a worthy goal with brutal singularity.

What’s the Story?
The sequel to the successful Hitman: Codename 47 finds the bald killer -- recently retired and tormented by his violent past -- working off his guilt in a remote Sicilian monastery. He's handed his guns and soul over to Father Vittorio, a kindly priest who is aiding 47 on his path to redemption. When the priest is kidnapped by a group hoping to bring the killer back into action, 47 grudgingly returns to the world of international assassination and intrigue in hopes of rescuing his counselor.
Each of the 19 levels offer a variety of ways to solve problems, measuring your success based on the tools and methods you use. For example, if you blast your way through the underground barracks in St. Petersburg you may score high on the aggression scale, but you'll bottom out on the stealth meter -- ultimately earning a rating of "Hatchet Man" instead of "Professional."
CloseIs It Any Good?
This is one of the best-designed games of its type. You'll want to spend a lot of time in the game, as the environments are carefully rendered and remarkably interactive. Controls are easy to master yet provide an impressive range of options and control.
But make no mistake -- HITMAN 2: SILENT ASSASSIN is appropriately named, and there is no shortage of graphic violence. The brutality ranges from launching impersonal sniper fire from a distance to up-close strangulation with a wire. Copious amounts of blood paint the walls during gun fights, and depictions of torture, injury to innocents, and the potential to attack police officers all add to the general unseemliness of the game. Parents and children beware.

Fun, but annoying!
This game gets really annoying if you're trying to sneak around and you constantly get caught; because most of the time you can't afford to "run and gun". This game is definitely 15+, there's lots of violence (uh, it's titled "Hitman") and sometimes gore. If you're stealthy there really no gore because you usually use knives, and other "quieter" weapons. Took me a while to beat, and the last mission sucks, but overall it's lots of fun!

good game.......
This game is very violent Its also cool too i SUCK AT IT!! but it is fun. Its about a retired assassin named 47. Ok you start out at a monastary (you are at a monastary because 47 wanted to put his violent past behind him) Were some guy who you are friends with is captured , in an attempt to rescue him you once again become an assassin.

Great Game-BADD Violence
This game was really fun to play, it had great missions, but honestly, it's a game called HITMAN 2, violence is a given. There was moderate language, but nothing that would offend a person who listens to rap. I havn't found any sexual references yet, and there was no drugs/alcohol at all. Two things keep this from being a "T" game: the massive amount of blood and the language. 4.75/5
