Karaoke Revolution Party - E
Common Sense Note
Parents need to know that this game contains very little objectionable material beyond some mildly suggestive lyrics. Players may also custamize their characters: Kids may choose sexy clothes for their performer, or create a somewhat stereotypical character (an overweight woman in a bathrobe and curlers, for example).
Families can talk about how difficult it is to sing and dance at the same time. Do you have new respect for pop star performers who manage to do both? Do you blame the ones who lip sync?

This game is very much like previous versions of Karaoke Revolution: Players croon along to popular tunes, scoring points for hitting the right notes. Choices in this installment range from Beyonce to Tony Bennett.
The biggest change: Now -- with the addition of a dance pad -- players can choose strut their stuff while they sing. It's amazingly difficult to do both, and quickly becomes a cardio workout. Players are advised to start dancing in easy mode and work up to the harder stuff.
There are minigames (like getting characters to successfully stage dive), lots of unlockables, cool ways to customize characters, and fun environments in which to perform, including a very trippy music video. Players can even use their Eye-Toy to check themselves out.
All in all, this is a great titles for parties and family gatherings over the holidays (up to 8 players can participate). Just be careful not to trip on the headset cord in the middle of a performance -- that's not a very glamorous move, and it's sort of easy to do.
