What Parents Need to Know
This review of Lost in Blue 3 was written by Erin Bell
Parents need to know that in this survival sim game, shipwreck victims stranded on an island must gather resources to survive - if they don't receive enough sustenance they will collapse and the game will end. Weapons like bows and spears can be crafted and used to hunt animals like fish and chickens to eat.
Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about what they would do if they ever found themselves in the same position as the shipwrecked characters. What would be the five most important tools to have in a situation like that?

What’s the Story?
The game takes place in real-time, with minutes ticking by as you play and time divided into day and night. Each day the goal is to explore the island (either alone or with a companion in tow, who can help with tasks like moving large logs) and scavenge for things like food, fresh water to drink, firewood, and materials for tools –- combine a twig and bark to make a fire starter, or sharpen a stick to make a spear. You're responsible for maintaining the health of everyone in your group (seeing that they get enough rest, food, water, and warmth) and maintaining good relationships by doing nice things for others.
