NBA street volume 2 is one of the most fun games I have played in awhile. After I played alot of bad/disapointing games it was good to play a great sports game like NBA street Volume 2. I love sports games and this one is great too. It could be played by all ages but you should atleast be 4 or older so you can understand the controls. The only violence is characters get knocked over by other players and the players don't talk so don't wore about the language.

What’s the Story?
In NBA STREET VOL. 2, kids perform extravagant slam-dunks and elaborate tricks as they work toward becoming street basketball champions. NBA Street is not about authentically reproducing a basketball game -- although the moves are genuine and technically possible. Instead, the game focuses on "winning with style," as players try not only to get baskets, but also to get points for performing Harlem Globetrotter-esque tricks. As players perform tricks they build up a meter toward "game breakers," which take points from the opposing team and give them to the player's team.
Kids can either play a simple pick-up game or start a career where they build up their own team. NBA stars, both past and present, can be used as part of the team, or kids can create their own players, built up with points earned by winning games and tournaments.
CloseIs It Any Good?
The games take place in a variety of famous street courts around the country including some in New York City, Chicago, and Seattle. Wisecracks from the background commentator may get repetitive, but the comments are not offensive and some are kind of funny. The only tie-up may occur with the controls, which are a little complicated since the offense and defense have different buttons. Nonetheless, a run through the tutorial should get any player up to speed.
For kids wistfully looking at the basketball hoop on a rainy day, NBA Street Vol. 2 might be a good alternative. Multi-player support means they can still take on their friends, and the variety of moves, challenges, and chances to customize their team means they won't get bored soon. On the whole, NBA Street Vol. 2 is a fun game, even for those who are not in love with basketball.

Awesome Game
I highly recommend this game, especially to anyone who likes basketball. The controls are fairly easy to learn and it is one of the best sports games that is out there. The only concern for younger kids may be a lack of sportsmanship by the NBA players.
