Best way to own a pet!!

Living in a house with 2 cats and a large dog I have to say this is the best pet of the bunch. No actual poo to scoop or food bags laying around. My kids love this game.

    Excellent Puppy Sim

This is the best dog sim I have seen, period. The graphics are great and it's fun to collect items for your puppies. The only problems I have with the game are: 1) The voice-recognition feature is pretty poor. Sometimes the dogs won't understand your commands. 2) The puppies never grow up. Older dogs are fun too, but we never get to see them. It would be much more fun to watch the puppies turn into mature dogs after a while.

    "LOTS OF FUN"

Nintendogs is my 9 year old grandaughter's favorite game. She thinks it really helps people to learn how to take good care of their puppies and dogs. She is also learning about the responsibilty and expense involved with having an animal. She plays it alot.

    Cute

My daughter loves this game. She's adopted 4 puppies and cares for them and plays with them. You can train them to do tricks and earn points. You can take them on a walk where you get to choose the route and sometimes the puppy finds presents and brings them to you. When you earn points you can buy things for your dogs, upgrade your house and buy more puppies. I've even picked up this game several times and played it. I really enjoy it myself and I'm not much of a gamer.

    Cute!

I picked this game up and thought "this can't be anything like caring for a real dog." I was right, but it's better than a real dog since all messes made are virtual! This is a really adorable game and had me falling in love with the little puppy on the screen. Very innovative and well done.

PERFECT FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES!

I LOVE it! It's a really good game, it teaches kids the responsibility of owning a puppy, but in some parts it can be pretty Frustrating for example when you first bring the puppy home you need to name thee puppy, and it must learn it's name by you/your child saying it's name aloud and sometimes it takes forever for a puppy to learn it's name (I know I drive my grandmother absolutely crazy when that happens!) and the same goes for tricks, and also obedience trials, Obedience trials are competitions where you can eneter your puppy to show off it's obedience but sometimes (as in real life) the puppy won't do the trick that's asked of it (whether on purpouse or because of simly not understanding the commands, but overall this game is age appropriate and fun for kids of all ages!

A fantastic virtual simulation for those who can't have a real dog. Nintendogs lets you experience all the wonders of owning a pup. You can choose from an array of activities like walking, grooming, and contests, as well as feeding and patting you adorable puppy. This game works well because of it'd realism and it's indepth. Not feeding you pup results in one grumpy dog! A must have on Nintendo DS.

This is a classic- our family still plays it after 3 years.

Nintendo, you are a genius. This game has super-easy controls obviously tailor-made for the DS. Me and my sister loved it when we were young, because we could spend hours petting our nintendogs and playing with them. Now we love it because of all the unlockables and mini-games, like Frisbee and Dog Agility. All in all, this game is TOTALLY worth the money, and will make you feel bad if you forget to feed your dogs.

    Great for all ages.

Sometimes when you walk the dog and forget to pick up the dog's poop and then you meet another owner they get REALLY mad at you for doing that or if you don't feed it a lot then they still get mad at you. That's might be scary for little kids maybe. But this game is great for those who can't have a dog or at least a pet, or someone who isn't very responsible. The dogs are just digital :]

    A bit overrated

I had 3 versions of this game, and I sold them. I got bored easily. This game doesn't compare to having a real pet. Not by a long shot.

    I LOVE THIS!

I love this- it's realistic and fun. You play with your pet and everything. But, young ones need to know you have to take care of you pet. Your pets will get mad at you if you don't or run away. It is a GREAT game.

I am 11 and I love this game! The problem is the walks though. You can't pause or quit them so you must finish them. My parents yell at me so I never get to save my walks. LOL!

    It's like a dog in a box.

Nintendogs is a virtual pet simulation from none other than Nintendo. Using the touch screen, you can (virtually) pet, bathe or groom your virtual companion. The game starts with the player choosing a dog to cal their own. There are 4 different versions of the game, all with different dogs to choose from. After picking one, you can name it however you like. The player then enters their "house", basically a playing area where you can do anything from petting to throwing tennis balls. There are also options to bathe, feed, shop for food or other supplies, or take your dog for a walk. When walking, you draw a path with the stylus through a small map of a town. When you are finished, the game shows a clip of your dog walking on a leash Occasionally, you may find small boxes containing valuable items like collars or toys. Every time you walk with your dog, they gain more stamina, or the ability to make your path longer. this is all the more reason to walk every day, so you can venture out to discover everything there is out there. With additional contests, the ability to link up with your friends, and a vast world to explore, this game is truly like having your own (virtual) pet.

    weird

this is one weird game when you have a walk there is a glitch that looks like your dogs having sex no offence but its true only play if you have a obsession with dogs i thought it was good but it is bad

    Cute

I used 2 love this game but somexs it can get a wee bit boring. Its also hard 2 get 2 the championship obedeince trial. (that may be cuz my dogs r stupid) It also takes 4ever 2 unlock all the breeds of dogs. I have the Chihuahua version and my faves at the start of the game r Sheltie and CKC Spaniel. My friend and I got on bark mode and she let me b able 2 unlock Shiba Inus and they r the most cute. The Corgis r kinda cute but act weird. Lil dogs like yorkies rnt as good in agility trials as bigger dogs so beware. Hope this helps new (and awful late) gamers.

TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS REVIEW IT HAS A CHEAT IN IT when i got it i said oh great sarcasticly but i was wrong. it is great! its good enough for me to write a review. if you want to beat the game your must buy the action replay.insert the action replay into your DS then put the game itno the action replay, then turn on your DS and on the touch screen there should be a thing that looks like this *, click on it and select the top 3 cheats then click start. when it start you must give your dog(s) water or milk then a dog food can or dry food. if nothing happens give your dog a bath evreything shouldbecome avaible

Thier cute their loveable, they poop on the virual rug!

Yes! They did it again! A wonderous pet game for all ages. You heard it! You can care for your dogs, pet them, give them showers, take them out for walks and so on. This game also teaches responsibility, and the dogs are so cute! I would almost garentee this game for all ages that don't have pets. Even adults would have a fun time playing this! But parents should be aware of thier kids going in bark mode. But anyways it is the best game for all ages.

One Of the best games ever

Okay when I bought this game and bought Dogz I didn't know what to expect. I knew one of them was going to be great but Nintendogs was the best. Oh My... All the Cute little puppies and how cute they barked was unbearable. So I just had to play with them everyday. Obe of the best sim pet games ever! If someone rates it a AO-Off-17+ I will be ticked off.
