    Terrible Values marketed to kids!

This game is fun to play, my son loved it and I was not happy to see what was being marketed to kids. I am not too concerned about fighting violence against villans. The violence in this game is brutal, but there is no blood. I played for a couple of hours and here are the concerns. Swearing, Scantily clad females, excessive violence against women and others. On one mission as spiderman, your assignment is to first photograph immodestly dressed girls while they are strutting on a catwalk. Then the girls start to fight and Spiderman has to go brutally beat up all of the scantily clad females. Between inappropriate language, inappropriate sexual images and brutality towards women, I yanked the game and it is not allowed in our house.

    NOT BAD FOR A MOVIE-TIE-IN-GAME

AFTER SEEING HOW MUCH THE GAME HAS CHANGED FROM SPIDER-MAN 1 AND 2, YOU MAY WOUNDER WHY SPIDER-MAN 3 FEELS THE SAME. THAT'S BECAUSE SPIDER-MAN 3 KEEPS EVERYTHING THAT MADE THE FIRST TWO MOVIE GAMES A SUCCESS, BIG CITIES, AREAS, AND AN ARRAY OF SUPER VILLAINS. BUT THE ONE THING THAT WILL TAKE SOME GETTING USE TO IS THE SWINGING, IT'S NOT THE BEST MECHANIC SEEN IN A SPIDER-MAN GAME BUT WORKS WELL NONE THE LESS. THE GAME IS SOMEWHAT LOSE ABOUT THE PLOT. THE MAIN PLOT (THAT TAKES PLACE FROM THE MOVIE) IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT BUT MAKES SENSE. IT ACTUALLY FITS WELL WITH THE PLOT FOR THE MOVIE. THE SIDE PLOTS ARE SURPRISINGLY WELL WRITTEN, WITH A SUB-PLOT TO CARRY ON, EVEN IF YOU BEAT THE MAIN PLOT THERE'S STILL PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO, AND SEE.

Spidey what have you done this time?

Spider-man the web swinging hero that started from marvel comics, became a movie, had several sequels. Now there is a video game for the third movie. Bad move. The video game is terrible. The story is off and the action really is horrid. Complete waste of time and money. A few bad words, nothing too worry about for a 10-year old. "suck" is said constantly. No blood or gore.

    spidey joke

The film was great, but the game has made pathetically with its constant gang wars and boffin rescues. The game story itself could be completed within 6 hours and it doesn't help without spidey sense. During the game , spidey gets the dark suit but it throws harder punches and doesn't last long. The other missions includes rescuing fruit pies and boffins or bomb dispolsal. Come on! Also, during fights with bosses, they hold your hand by telling you which buttons to press which got right on my nerves. I think that the ps2 version realllllyyy sucks and thats not due to parkers ugly face in the game. i thought the game got rubbish when he stopped swinging webs, and started swinging punches. Chaos

    This game is awesome!

This game was awesome! It has some great fighting action, awesome combat style, the graphics are amazing and the storyline is great. But I have it for PS3 (playstation 3 for parents) and a lot of people are saying that it sucked for PS2 ( playstation 2 for parents), so if your kid wants this game, but has a PS2, rent it, that way you won't wasted money on something that your kid is not going to want to play. I highly recommend getting this game for kids and people with a PS3 and an XBOX360.

A great game that is superior to its predecessors in every way.

Spider-Man 3 is (in my opinion) a vast improvement over Spider-Man 2. First the graphics, the graphics are very impressive for a next-gen action game and the framerate is smooth most of the time, Spider-Man (Red Suite and Black) is highly detailed and I'm not disappointed and also the city looks great. Now the gameplay, swinging is as fun as it every was and in my opinion it's improved over it's predecessors, the combat is pretty good also even though it's not very complicated I like it. Next the sound, the voice acting is solid like Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man, Peter Parker) does a good job changing his attitude when he gets the black suit and things like that are a nice addition, though the only downside is that Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane) didn't lend her voice to the game. Now finally the lasting value, personally I haven't beaten the game yet because I enjoy so much fighting crime in the city so the lasting value is good there. Overall Spider-Man 3 is a great action game and for families there's nothing to worry about content wise, so I highly suggest this game to anyone who's interested in Spider-Man and people who like action games.

    This game SUCKED!

I don't know what the game is like on the 360, but I have it on the PS2. And let me tell you, if you just HAVE to play this, rent it first. I don't even think it's not even worth the 7 dollars you'll pay to rent it.
