Messages: There are quite a few when you look into, despite the fact that the cutscenes are less then a minute long and are just from the movies (don't worry, no episode 3 here). When you play as the good guys, your mission briefing in Historical Campaign is sort of like you must stop the bad guys from invading a planet, or defending a peaceful one. When you play as the bad guys, your mission briefing uses words such as wipe out, destroy, or teach them a lesson, but it's mostly cartoonish. Regardless of your side, you are engouraged to use teamwork and srategy. You are discouraged and punished in the statistics for killing your own teamates. You however, get awarded for killing the most people (but they automatically come back to life). Violence: Yes, there is a fair amount of violence, and you are supposed to get alot of kills, but it is all star wars and lasers. Even the rockets and grenades are different colors from yellow to green to purple to red and even blue. There is no blood or gore, but when a droid is destroyed their limbs can go flying in all directions, but they're robots.

Pretty good Lucasarts.
Better than most, all violence is done with colorful lasers flying everywhere, and some explosions. Minor language in the campain mode. (D-word and the like)

Great harmless game suitable for those over 10. No blood or swearing, a really fun Star Wars play.

No blood, fine for kids, but beware of the future
Pretty fun game, even for a kid like me who has only played about 5 video games in my entire life. Shooting lasers everywhere, but no blood or gore, something I like about it. Having your player get killed can happen frequently, and the character will release an "Aaaaarrrgh!" and topple around on the ground. There IS sort of a plot, described at the beginning of the battle. My 8 year old cousin plays this game, and he HATES bloody games. All in all: Fine for kids, but may lead to more graphic first-person shooters later on. Parents should judge their type of child before allowing this.

Fun Game
This is a great game. The controls are relatively simple and the graphics are good. It is a relatively violent game. Soldiers yell out when killed. I think it's appropriate for ages 12 and up.

Great game and Graphics. In some ways it's better then it's sequel, (but of course the sequel is still better in my opinion). You don't have to be a big fan of Star Wars to enjoy this game. Many different troop types and vehicles to use.

Awesome game
Star Wars Battlefront is a great game with great graphics. No blood - it has just as much violence as in the movies but the game is just battles. Some parts of the game you need strategy. I think this game should be for 8 and up.

This game is lots of fun and no blood, and you get shot with lasers :P nothing bad right it has a fun online multiplayer, but some peeps will drop a f-bomb for no reason !(PC) MULTIPLAYER NOT SINGLE PLAYER.

Great star wars game!
A good game, but parents should know that it is basically a shooter with a little strategy involved that takes the star wars name. There are guns, but no blood. You do kill people, some of which are robots, but there are no bullets or gore of any kind. You can die in mildly horrofic ways like getting eaten by a star wars monster, falling off a cliff, or getting run over or stepped on by a vehicle of some kind. There is an online option, and so you should know that when chatting online kids may use profanity. But its definitely worth the while. It's a good first-time shooter. I say its fine for any kid around the double digits.

Wonderful
This game has some of the best graphics I have ever seen. The only concern for parents is the violence, but there is no blood at all. A good strategy game as well, this game is ok for 10+ in my opinion.
