Lots of fun!
This game is for 7 and up. The challenges get pretty tricky as the game progresses. The 2nd player option allowed my younger children to play (4 and 6) with the 8 year olds. Everyone enjoyed watching the game and cheering the players on.

Cute but challenging
The graphics are adorable and there are are lots of levels and missions to complete with plenty of surprises around every new corner. It's great that a 2nd player can assist the primary player by using the 2nd wiimote to catch stars, block attackers, etc. The only negative is that the directions are a little vague and some of the missions are too hard for younger players, which invites frustration. I still have no idea what the overall goal of the game is. I got bored with it much faster than the kids did. I don't know how appealing it would be to more experienced teen gamers but the 7-11 year old set had a blast.

One of the Greatest Games Ever...Period!
Super Mario Galaxy is a graphical and gameplay masterpiece on Nintendo's Wii system. The Wiimote controls are extremely tight and fluid and while you play it feels so natural. This game has the best graphics on the Wii to date and musical score fits perfectly - ranging from recognizable nostalgic themes to pleasurable scores for Mario's space exploration! In addition, you can grab a friend, your child or parent and they can control an additional Wiimote so both can play the game at the same time! One will play as Mario on the screen while the other shoots projectile crystals at enemys and objects so Mario can progress. I highly recommend that every Wii owner purchase this game.

Great Game All Ages
Another great sequel to the mario series. Again as always mario remains kid friendly. And as far as age limit goes I say 7+ ONLY for the fact that any ages younger might not be able to understand some of the things that are going on. Final Verdict- Amazing Game(I played it myself!) All Ages!!

I think the game is smooth for every teen and adult. The game is for when you are bored and doesn't have any thing else to do. I think the game is something that you might encourage your child to play.

My favorite video game tied with Super Mario 64.
This is a splendid, colourful, magical, incredible, near perfect game. It has an exceptional atmosphere, incredible music, really amusing challenges and a really simple yet appealing story. Mario travels from planetoids to other planetoids in order to save Princess Peach from the evil (well in reality he is not really evil, that's just what he wants to look like) Bowser. The gameplay is revolutionary as it uses gravity in a perfect way. Full of references to other Mario titles such as Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario World, and even other Nintendo franchises and characters such as Pokémon and Yoshi, with 120 stars to find with Mario then Luigi and then again an ultimate star, the game is a must-have for casual inexperienced AND hardcore experienced gamers.

Challenging and Entetaining Game
Mario has been the King of Video Games since the eighties. In fact, he's been crowned the Living Legend of Gaming History. On January 16, 2009, this game won the award for Greatest Children's Game Set in Outer Space (there are a lot of categories!). I have never beaten this game and my brother has gotten close. I don't know why, but I love watching my older brother play games. But then I play them and it's not as enjoyable. Oh, well. There's no sex, language, or drugs, and violence is at time intense but nothing that you haven't seen in a game. I would recommend this for tweens, teens, and young adults, but mostly people with lots of patience.

Pretty good but not as much as you'ed think.
This game would be a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 in my book. But the true reason that I wrote this review was to talk indirectly to "xxmetalheadxx" who wrote a very inapropreit review for this game. I would like to tell him that it's not funny to make jokes like that meaning to tell people things that are wrong. Think before you do things like that. It's not cool. -i love dogs

Best Anticipated Wii Game Yet!
I remember when I first bought this game and I have one word to describe it. Amazing. The graphics are very colorful, the game play is so fun that it'll make you wanna play the game more. Nintendo has done a wonderful job on this creation along with the plot and if you haven't bought the game yet, then I would recommend it to all Wii-owners at any age!

Reach For The Stars...
This star-snattching, Luma-feeding, Bowser-beating, game came out for the Wii, on Nov. 12. Recieving a "9.7 out of 10-Incredible" by Ign, has left the gaming community speechless. The graphics and gameplay: Astounding the lenght and extras you ask? Amazing It's also one of the few games in which Luigi is a playable character in a one-player Mario game. What do you say? One-player? Don't worry. This game allows Co-op with player two being a star by pointing at the screen with the Wiimote. What do I personally rate it? One word. Galactic.

I played 1000 times after I beat it.
This game is really fun so fun that my mom plays it and she's in her early 30's. It's worth your money. Here are some tips once you get all 120 stars with mario and then fight bowser you unlock Luigi. Then you get all 120 stars as Luigi(it dosn't take as long because you've done all the levels before)and fight bowser you'll unlock the rand finale level. Once you beat that you'll get all 121 stars and your mii picture sparkles the ending is anti climactive.

This Is A Great Game!
I have 68 stars and am planning on beating the whole thing. I actually am having fun with a Mario game; and I normally do. Some Mario games get repetitive with there hero style, (And this game can be too) but is easy for anyone to play, and is suitable for anyone.

great game!
mario galaxy is amix of fun puzzlesolving and platforming. i am an hardcore gamer and i enjoy playing games such as halo 3 and cod4, but this game is immersive yet not repetative. it was somewhat dragout but very few boring spots. not many games have such a good feel with wiimote and nunchuk as this game has. even the muti player format plays great. if you are a wii owner you should get this game right away.

Great game for anyone
Super Mario Galaxy is a 3D platformer for Wii. In terms of gameplay, graphics, etc., this game was phenomonal. But that's not the point of this site, right? The game has only cartoonish violence (spinning, jumping on, blah blah blah on enemies) and there is no blood or anything. The game has no sexual themes, or anything like that, so it is perfectly appropriate. This game would most likely not scare anyone (unless they are creeped out by a giant turtle-like thing), and i don't think any area, enemy, etc, would scare your kids. Keep in mind that some basic reading ability is required to understand the game and some ti=hings may not be explained in-game, so you/they may have to consult the manual. Verdict: Not inappropriate in terms of content, awesome game in its own rights, but your child may have to be able to read a bit.

A Must Play Video Game For Owners Of Nintendo Wii.
This is one of the best games i ever played. It has a variety of things to do. In levels you explore worlds to try and find POWER AND GRAND STARS. It has some of the main mario characters such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad. You must explore galaxies in search of stars. On your way you will run into obstacles and enemies. I would reccommend this game to ANYONE !.!.! This Is A MUST-BYE game! PEACE :) PEACE

This is a Fun game....
But. It is quite kiddy and gets a little too strange after a while. The galaxy thing is fun but gets annoying in a little bit. Most places you go are rolling worlds (like mini planets). But this is a very good game and fun to play. I wish the star bits did more damage!

Anyone can play it.
Awesome fun easy Mario. Anyone can play it 1-whatever no issues what so ever, graphics fine, gameplay awesome BUT if you rsomeone my age (or older) its almost to kiddy. Otherwise its probably the best Wii game other than No More Heros (which is M) and looks pretty tricked.
