What’s the Story?

Take on some of the toughest golf courses in the world from the comfort of your living room. TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 2004 allows your child to create the ultimate golfer. Golf balls buried in sand traps, downhill 30-foot putts and 200-yard plays out of 6-inch rough will be a breeze once they master this game.

The game is rated E for ages 6 and up, and is easy for younger players to pick up. With few controls coming into play, young children will have no problem pitching out of the sand or teeing off. However, they may have difficulty with advanced options like club selection and wind direction.

Is It Any Good?

There's little educational value that can be directly associated with the game, but like many EA titles, it is free of violence and inappropriate language.

Overall, you can't go wrong with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004. Aside from constant reminders that Nike sponsors Tiger, the game is enjoyable to play and offers children a great way to challenge themselves without having to pick up a club.

    Fun for everyone

This is a fun game for everyone, including non-golf fans. The only thing besides the product placement which may be objectionable in this game is some mild lyrics in the soundtrack. For example, "Party Up" by DMX. Though squeaky clean, it still has those fill-in-the blank parts that might upset parents (but will go over kids' heads).

I rate this title on for age 2 and give it 5.0

Its OK, but im not much of a real life golfer

Its ok, but like all newer EA Sports games, the PC version is cheaper than the PS2, XBOX, and GC versions. But it can help you to learn how golf works, what different clubs are used for, and how to hit the balls.
