For kids that don't get enough energy out by being inside on a rainy day, this is a great alternative and gets the entire family involved as well as helps establish goals.

Makes excercising fun for the whole family!
You just need to remember to go in and adjust your child's height occassionally as they grow so that it doesn't mess up the BMI.

Great games and good exercise
Wii Fit has a fun set of games, with enough variety that you can choose what you want to do and avoid the games that drive you nuts! They system is well designed, with many of the exercises guiding the user to the correct form by the very nature of the design. It is challenging and many of the activities are a good workout.

I still enjoy mine.
My mother, my niece, and myself all play almost daily on my Wii Fit. For my niece, in particular, it was an amazing tool. We've been trying to help her lose some weight (on recommendation of her pediatrician), but nothing has really been able to help motivate her to do anything. However, after watching her Mii grow in size, she finally understood why we wanted to help her. And even better, she can play on Wii Fit for hours before we finally force her to take a break. She doesn't even really realize that she's exercising! It's perfect for what we needed.

I love this game
I really love this game. I'm a total couch potato, and I've tried other home fitness equipment and gym memberships to no avail. I just can't stick with them long enough to do any good, but this has been a lot of fun. I've been playing three times a week for a month, and I can feel that I'm getting stronger. On the down side I will say that my five-year-old daughter was unhappy to be rated overweight, so when she wasn't looking I adjusted her height a couple of inches, so now she's very excited to get a normal rating. I'll also say that some of the fitness tips are less than helpful, and I wish it did more to help plan a workout strategy; for example, it already tracks which activities I complete each day, so it wouldn't be so much more complicated to come up with a recommendation of activities for the next day; for example, abs today, thighs tomorrow or strength today aerobic tomorrow. Something like that. My three-year old son's favorite activity is running in place. He's hilarious. He pumps his little feet on the carpet like someone is chasing him!

I think this game is great! Our 3 year old attempts to do the excercise and activities, but they are just beyond her abilities. I love the fact that fitness has become a "game".

Great Fitness Tool! Goals are Awesome!
It's really fun and it helps adults and teens lose weight! However, it misreads people with muscles and children, I must say. It's fun and has really good tips on staying healthy and getting a right amount of excersise each day, while making it much for children. A+!

Okay, so what I said it was educational?! The game completely forgets that you want to use it as an exersise program. Plus, the accesories cost $90, and this game is not worth it. The major problem with this game, however, is that you will be spending more time in the menus than exersising. Now while this isn't the worst game in the world (that title would probably go to Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure wii), it is not reasonable to spend ninety dollars just to get the accesories to a plagued exersise program.

Okay
This one is okay but I personally prefer other options such as EA active.

Great way to encourage good health!
This game is great because it encourages you to be active instead of sitting on the couch. Although it's good exercise, don't let it replace exercise outdoors. The weight measurements are a little innacurate because it counts muscle weight as fat, so don't let it get to you if it tells you you're obese because you might not be. The games are really fun and at the same time you're building up strength, great game!

Complete Hoax
After all the hype, not only does this device not help you an inch, but completely wrecks your self esteem. I have an 11 year old brother with two parents who are both normal weighted doctors, and Wii Fit called him obese, while according to an actual BMI scale, he is far from it. After going on for hours training (which the majority of the time, just gives you muscle pain rather than anything worth while), it will generally tell you that you've gained weight. Even if it did work, with kids who are clearly underweight being called normal and normal people being called obese, this title is truly a complete nuisance to society, which (don't take this the wrong way) must have been tested on people from the subject of origin, because who ever they tested it on, must have had zero muscle mass.

Very entertaining!
I love this game. It is so great! It gives you the kind of determination most kids and adults need to get fit (wii fit) and stay fit (wii fit!) I understand why some people can be offended by it's knowledge of weather you are underweight, healthy weight, at risk of being overweight, and overweight. I am at healthy weight and I have no shame no matter what I am but some people do and I understand. But over all this is a great game for all ages. My little friends (4 and 5) play it! But they do eat well and are active as well as I so don't be surprised if it turns out not to be a miracle worker! :]

Doesn't deserve 5 stars.
It's not a real game and all the mini games are boring and what kind of game makes you exercise? Go outside, exercise and then buy yourself a real game to play.
- I rate this title off for age 17 and give it
This is Stupid
This is stupid. Go outside, get some fresh air! The last thing you need is to be staring at a screen. Yeah, yeah you say you're moving and getting healthy but go play with your friends! Invent something outside! What happened to old times? Don't let technology run you life. You can play fun video games like this but DO NOT replace this for outside play. You can ruin your eyes and the $$$ is going to start to add up sooner or later. Buy a 7$ soccer ball and have 99.99999999% more fun and it;s 99.999999% cheaper. This is stupid.

this is a great fun game in which yo are encorouged to lose weight in a fun and easy way. it is very hard o cheat and crack the system. nintendo did a great job making so that the board knows exactly where your weight is. if it carches you cheating you get ranked lower. very fun to try and beat records and unlock new games and excersises. highly recomended

awesome but expensive
This game can easily be addictive. It is a great game but 90 dollars! The only problem is some people {girls ages 11-14} might be sensitive about their weight. The good fix for that is you can put a password to block your info from other people.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
totally awesome
this is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to the video game world. i love it and so do all my friends. it encourages excercise and doesn't poke fun at you if and when you don't do well. it is supportive and a very good game. the only prob would be that the scale is way off and tells you that you have gained or lost drastic amounts of weight when you haven't.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
Love it!!
This game is a lot of fun, and since I started playing it, I have found myself exercising more. Others should join in and enjoy this game.
