It may be violent but it's still fun! THe violence in it is extreme. You're always slicing people up like Freddy Krueger. Blood splatters a whole lot. Not for the little ones.

What’s the Story?
Despite the use of the movie logo and Hugh Jackman on the cover, X2: WOLVERINE'S REVENGE has nothing to do with the X-Men films. The game is set in the X-Men comic universe, but it the events of that world don't affect how you play the game.
The controls are very simple, which may make the game too easy for older teens but just right for younger kids -- unfortunately, that's not who the game is intended for.
CloseIs It Any Good?
The combat can be very intense, and there are usually multiple enemies involved. The fights are a little graphic in terms of blood, but the sounds of slashing claws and enemies groaning as they die really adds to the realism, and may alarm sensitive kids. In addition, stealth mode is designed to reward you for killing someone in silence. Items called Dog Tags are awarded for silent kills and power up your special combo moves.
The boss battles are likely to be the favorite part of the game for most teens -- this is where they get to take on many of the cool foes from the comics. Each boss has their own weakness for players to figure out. It may take a few times to get through it, but it can be done, and it feels like a solid and satisfying end to each level.
