Awsome game but way more of a Marvel fan
Arham Asylum is a sometimes dark and gridy action game. He has a whole belt of gear that can be disposed at anytime, and can be upgraded. Its the best superhero game of 2009-2000 but still has its problems. Now once the parents acully see it thats when they turn off the power to the machine and trade it in for batman brave and the bold game. It does some scary parts that when I played through it creeped me out and almost made me throw my controller up and just save it. Plus parents dont like all dead guys laying on the floor after Joker and his goons killed the. There is not a massive amout of blood in the envierement. One last thing parents might not like the part where theres a guy being strapped to a while being electrocuted in a chair but you save him.

Excellent action game even for non-comic fans
While the atmosphere and violence aren't appropriate for very young players, preteens and up that enjoy action games should have a great time playing as Batman. Outstanding graphics, audio and playability make it one of the best video games of all time.

Although the game is intriguing and fun, it's not something a parent wants to put in front of their teenage son. The Poison Ivy character is barely clothed, and teenage boys just don't need to have this seductive character thrown in front of their eyes. Too bad the makers had to add this. They could have sold more games to parents who try to monitor what their teenagers are looking at.

Children Under 17 Should Not Watch It Because It Is Way To Violent. They Should Look At Games Like Naruto, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Spider Man, They Could Of Left Out Blood.

Great gaming experience for teens
I love Batman and I'm so happy someone has published a quality Batman game. Arkham Asylum is a wonderful easy to play game (depending on your skill level and what difficulty you play it at), there is obviously quite a bit of violence but you don't see blood in fights, you will, however, see a little bit in cut sceens. The story is well writen, voice acting is wonderful and the various villians are utilized well in the game, an exception though would be Killer Croc whose roll in the game I was rather disapointed with. There are suggestive elements in the game but I don't really take much notice to those, however, a teenage boy might. Overall wonderful game and stongly recommended.

Batman Arkham Asylum
I Love this game, it has the feel of the Batman Movies like rescuing hostages or beating up thugs and the Villains like Joker. This game has No Sex or any Private Parts shown, even though two of the characters wear skimpy clothes, and there is violence even though our favorite cloaked crusader never kills, The Joker and his thugs are not so merciful, But it never shows people get killed. Also, the language is not very nice at times but it does not reach the boundary of the S, B or F words. But, in spite of that there is no gore or blood that flies out when you hit someone, even though the there is blood on the terrain, also no drugs or alcohol is shown just mentioned when Batman has to track down a drunk smoker involved in a crime. I also believe that it shows good role models to kids like Batman who always stands up for doing the right and stops the bullies, thugs, and villians from their evil plans, this game is "Pause" for any mature Tweens and "On" for any teens in my opinion.

Just a fun game to play. Mild language, lots of fighting, but nothing too bad.

No blood, Good for batman fans.
Batman is a legendary character. This is only 11+ for me because it has quite a fear factor. The bigger characters look scary to younger audiences. This is a violent game but it has no blood, You can break necks and beat people up though. Even though only blood is on the environments. The sexual content is two female villians. Not too badly dressed. The language is very moderate. Overall its not too bad, But it has violent and scary stuff.

Good Game Play, bit violent for the younger teens
Excellent game play! Fight sequences are fantastic! It is nice to see a game that is not all guns and shooting. It is a bit violent for the younger teens and has a bit too much showing on some female characters.

The best superhero game ever made!
This is one of my favorite games of all time and I've been playing games for over 20 years. It is dark. There is also a lot of violence. Although Batman never kills he's not afraid to inflict damage, including regularly breaking limbs. The language wasn't a major issue. Occasional swearing, but not excessive.

Love it. Bit-- is used. A serum called titan is like a drug that bane uses and Joker starts using on other people you fight. When you fight jokers minions with titan in them some of their bones show. The game has some challenging moments that i had to use you tube to get the answers to. The joker is a bit dark and might scare young kids

Quite Entertaining
This game is quite dark in tone but being a Batman fan myself, when my son began playing this game, I was curious enough to spy on him. It looks like a really good game and I think Batman is as good of a role model, as you can get. I noticed that extra points were given when you saved a villain from falling. My son tells me it was relatively easy to play with initial minor problems using the Cryptographic Sequencer. I was also sucked in by the story, which I thought was well written. As said, the female villains were dressed quite provocatively.

Fun
Excellent gaming entertainment for children, not a shooter. No bad words, doesn't use the name of the Lord Jesus in vain.
